Stow and go.

The Men's NS-Storm Rain Jacket is Giordana's answer to shoulder-season clothing conundrums. On those will it/won't it days when the chance of rain is in the 40-70% range, the NS-Storm is an eminently packable barrier against the rain that is happy riding unused in a pocket for a few hours if the weatherman got it wrong. It's got taped seams and a zipper overflap, which boost its foul-weather pedigree to the point of being literally waterproof. We wouldn't recommend riding into a lake to test that claim, but you'd pretty much have to in order to get wet through this thing.

The overflap secures with magnets at the top and bottom, a design feature that aims to take the "flap" out of "overflap," and the extended collar is lined so your throat isn't exposed to the same unforgiving treatment that the jacket gives rain and road spray. When the clouds break, the NS-Storm packs down into its own pocket, making a ball about the size of a fist, so just-in-case rain protection doesn't cost you an entire jersey pocket.
