FR-C Pro Bib 5cm Shorter Short

At the end of the day, comfort on the bike all boils down to personal preference, be it a snugger fit, more compression, extra stretch, or full-blown different cuts. Should you crave a shorter inseam, be it to move those tan lines up a few inches, or because your femurs run a touch on the short side, Giordana has the ideal answer for you with the FR-C Pro Bib 5cm Shorter Short. These bib shorts pack in all of the detailed that the FR-C shorts are renowned for, but with a shorter inseam to keep you comfortable when you saddle up.

Giordana crafts the FR-C Pro Bibs with HC50 220 gram, 50 thread count Lycra offering optimal compression to promote blood flow and reduce the fatigue caused by road vibrations and muscle oscillation over long hours in the saddle. To increase durability, Giordana uses abrasion resistant fabrics on the seat panel and inner legs decreasing pedaling friction and keep these shorts lasting longer and looking newer. Ametista Core Contour System wraps the waist for comfort, and 190 E leg bands spread a soft, non-restrictive, and gently compressive grip across the 7.5cm cuffs with an integrated silicone application to help keep everything in place.

Though the fit is impeccably race worthy, the real heart of the FR-C Pro Bib Shorts is Giordana's top-of-the-line, women's specific Cirro S chamois. The seamless, single-piece insert uses foam padding of varying thicknesses and densities, ensuring comfort while cutting bulk. Its elastic construction allows it to be very flexible so it can move and stretch with you throughout the ride and return to its original shape after washings. The top layer of the chamois is a nylon microfiber that's infused with a permanent application of aloe vera, noted for its protective and hygienic properties.

See through

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I am 5’3, 140# and the M fit PERFECT. everything about these shorts feels great except the desert mauve (pink color) is totally see through. Stick to the darker colors unless you want everyone within a 10mi radius to see more than they bargained for!

Great for a serious rider!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I'm 5'6", usually wear a size 24/25 or 00/0 pant, 105 lbs. I bought these in XS and love them. They are my daily bibs for short weekday and longer weekend rides. I would say they are true to size. They are just the right amount of compression to make it feel like you're wearing a high quality pair of bibs but not sausage-ing your legs into them. The bigger/wider cuff on the bottom stays put, the bib straps are wide enough to not cut in or be uncomfortable. I bought 2 pairs of these and crashed in a pair. They don't say anything about 'crash resistance' fabric, but the leg panels definitely kept me from getting too road rashed. Will certainly be buying another pair!

Medium still too small for bigger bums

Familiarity:

the fit around the butt area was way too tight, creating the padding to be off kilter. The top straps were very light though personally would prefer more tension on them. 5'4, 140lbs, bigger ba-donk
