AV 300 Shoe Cover

Winter is a time for layers, hot cocoa, and the never ending battle to keep your cycling shoes clean in preparation for spring race time. Protect your shoes and keep your feet warm in style with Giordana's AV 300 Shoe Covers. Made from windproof and water-resistant materials, these shoe covers fend off the elements so you can train through all manner of gales, sprinkles, and sprinkling gales. The predominant fabric used in the AV 300's is Giordana's Pixel 300 BZ, which, in addition to its element-blocking membrane, boasts massive reflectivity for an added dose of visibility to motorists during gloomy lunch rides and evening tempo commutes.

Took some figuring out but I like them

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
Medium

I don't need to wear these often - really only in the time between toe covers and too cold (I live in MN). I had some trouble at first getting them over my shoes (Specialized S Works Sagan size 41.5), but the size I got was correct. I find the best way to put them on is like veloToze. That is, pull the whole thing up to the ankle, then put on your shoes. Pop in the heel, then the toe, then velcro underneath. Then try to zip up the back. Maybe I have weak hands, but I have yet to get them fully zipped. That's why I gave them only four stars. No matter. They look great and protect well during that "in between" time before I need my 45nrth Wolvhammer boots
