Great tracker with GPS
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I bought this in May 2018 and have worn this ever since. I have used it to track my steps and activities like running, walking, yoga, mountain biking and on the treadmill. It's usually pretty accurate, except when indoors on the treadmill. Then it doesn't get the distance right, but it's easy to edit the activity afterwards in the app. I had an older Garmin watch (2010) that I used for running and wanted to upgrade to something that could track my steps and activities and also had a GPS. The Vivoactive 3 is perfect for all I wanted and even more than I need. I was afraid this watch would be a little too big for my small wrist, but it's not and I like the round shape . I also changed the face plate, so it looks more like a real watch instead of an activity tracker. All in all I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
I bought this watch in Nov of 2017 and it is having problems
I need to find out what the warranty is and how to send it into Garmin
And also i need to get a copy of my reciept from back country
Great watch for tracking fitness data
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
My girlfriend got this watch and here is her review;
I love the fit and how sleek the watch is. I have slim wrists so sometimes it's hard to find a fitness watch that works.
The tracking functions were great for running and related activities. I'm not sure how accurate it is but it worked for me! It even has the ability to track some other training like strength but was a bit less accurate sometimes.
However this watch is not user friendly and neither is the Garmin App. It look a lot a trouble shooting and time to learn how to work the watch and the app. But if you're into tracking your fitness and love data this will probably be a great fit.
