Garmin VivoActive 3 $279.99
Get a move on.
Destined for heart-pumping runs, winding hikes through the mountains, and everyday wear in the city, the Garmin VivoActive 3 Watch monitors your active lifestyle for training purposes and facilitates organizational efficiency for conquering busy workdays. It's an advanced sport watch with 15 pre-loaded sport modes, allowing you to measure your efforts while running, hiking, cycling, swimming, and exercising at the gym. Built-in GPS measures your overall distance and speed outdoors, while the integrated accelerometer allows you to use this while training indoors at the gym.
Garmin's Elevate wrist-based heart rate monitor gives you an accurate depiction of the overall effort exerted while you're running, cycling, and training at the gym. After calculating your heart rate, it'll then calculate your fitness age and VO2 max, both of which are great indicators of your overall fitness level. Moreover, it measures heart rate variability, so you can gauge your stress level throughout the day and eliminate unwanted stressors.
Bluetooth Smart capabilities link up to your smartphone without fumbling with wires, so you can transfer data directly to Garmin's Connect app (both iPhone and Android devices). It's also capable of receiving smartphone updates, answering text messages, and rejecting incoming phone calls (Android devices only). And because it's meant for users constantly on the move, you'll find the USB-rechargeable battery lasts up to 7 days in smartwatch mode and 13 hours with the GPS enabled.

Great watch for tracking fitness data
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
My girlfriend got this watch and here is her review;
I love the fit and how sleek the watch is. I have slim wrists so sometimes it's hard to find a fitness watch that works.
The tracking functions were great for running and related activities. I'm not sure how accurate it is but it worked for me! It even has the ability to track some other training like strength but was a bit less accurate sometimes.
However this watch is not user friendly and neither is the Garmin App. It look a lot a trouble shooting and time to learn how to work the watch and the app. But if you're into tracking your fitness and love data this will probably be a great fit.
