Real-time run data.
Get the most out of your workout with the Garmin HRM-Run's minute-by-minute feedback on effort levels and built-in accelerometer to measure running form out on the road. The sensor is supported by a soft, adjustable strap and transmits data wirelessly to your Garmin Forerunner 620/920XT or fenix 2 device so you can see heart rate, cadence, vertical oscillation, and ground contact time to accurately measure your intensity levels and form metrics.
While the HRM-Run only sends running form feedback to the previously mentioned devices, it's compatible with other Garmin devices to accurately display and track heart rate data. These devices include the D2 Bravo, epix, fenix 3, and fenix 3 Sapphire. It runs for one year when used an average of one hour per day, and its standard, CR2032 battery is easily replaceable with a trip to the neighborhood grocery store.
- Calculates heart rate, cadence, vertical oscillation, and ground contact time when paired with: Forerunner 630, 620, and 920XT, and fenix 2 devices
- Displays heart rate only with: D2 Bravo, epix, fenix 2, fenix 3, and fenix 3 Sapphire, tactix Bravo, and VIRB XE
- Runs on CR2032 battery

Much better than the snap on HRM-Run
Had to make an upgrade when my original HRM-Run started to drop my heart rate. This strap is all around better. Much better fit. I don't feel it slipping like the previous strap. Additionally I feel I get a more accurate reading. This was definitely worth the upgrade.
Is this strap the old version, as shown in the photo, or the newer version listed as black/red in the drop down menu?
