Stylish and Motivating
Love the color and size of this watch. It motivates me every day to be more active and take care of my health and well-being. I am a swimmer and the Post workout charts are like having a coach by your side. Motivational and insightful. Highly recommend Garmin.

2 year Owner
I bought this watch almost 2 years ago, wanted to share my thoughts on the performance and value. I chose the smaller face due to concerns with possible damage at work, wish I had gotten the mid size face as maps are harder to see on this smaller size. The only other regret is not being able to get the ekg monitor on this model, it does not support this feature. My next watch would probably be the fenix pro version or the epix pro as this new feature seems worthwhile. Everything else about this watch has been a pleasant experience, the music storage in particular as well as the gps accuracy are both beyond expectation. The settings are very well thought out if somewhat overwhelming in number and variety. I would not consider other brands with everything garmin has put into this watch and the supporting software - former fitbit user.

Great versatility
I bit the bullet and bought this watch when it was on sale. I previously had 3 vivo active Garmin. When my last watch heart rate died I knew it was time to invest in a nice watch. I am a very active runner. I have loved the upgrades this watch has. The battery life has been a huge upgrade. I use GPS a lot for when I go on walks or runs and I still get several days out of the battery. I am 5”3 and have small wrists but the 42 fits just right.

Epic Battery life/Swim Pacer/Run Pacer

Triathlete watch of choice - epic battery life, did full IRONMAN (140.6) in 13:56 and finished race with 40% battery life thanks to battery saving feature enabled with a quick change in settings. Comfortable watch as I have a small wrist and don't want a large watch. I forget I am wearing this one. Other notable features: touchscreen, built-in flashlight (I run a lot in the dark) incident detection, on watch route builder, swim pacer and run pacer. I love Garmin... been with Garmin since 2018.

I absolutely love the feel, features and look!
I bought this a month ago and have used it for surfing, yoga, running and backpacking. I love how accurate its tracking is and the variety of activities and apps it offers. Unfortunately, it died on me on a backpacking trip. It was showing 5 days of battery life left,

App doesn’t work.
Watch looks great. However, the connect app constantly crashes. I’ve done everything recommended, including restarting watch, phone, re installing the app, etc. If the app doesn’t work, it renders the watch useless. Tech support just said it was probably a glitch and would look into it. If Garmin makes a habit of releasing updates of their app that doesn’t work, I’m not keeping this watch.

Great watch, but has some flaws.
I bought this watch about a month ago now because I wanted to transition from my Apple Watch to more of a fitness based watch with GPS, and I really wanted something with better battery life. The battery life is AMAZING!!! I charge it maybe once a week. It’s so refreshing to not have my watch die during an exercise! One thing that I really don’t care for is the heart rate sensor— I find it very inaccurate which is frustrating considering how much you pay for the watch. For example, I recently ran a half marathon and when I was looking at my race stats it said, mid race, that my heart rate was 30… 30!!!! Super far off. Other than that, I’m satisfied but this heart rate being so off really impacts all of my personal health statistics on my watch.

Conflicted
I bought this watch a couple of months ago. It is overkill for my lifestyle but I chose it for a couple of reasons. The most important to me is the ability to listen to podcasts without brining my phone on the trails. So far, after hours watching YouTube videos and spending more hours on the phone with customer service, this feature still does not work. I am disappointed. Apple Music is my go to for music and podcasts and so far seems incompatible with the watch. I’ve even considered paying for a Spotify account to get the results promised by Garmin. However, from what I’ve read online, Spotify users also have an impossible time playing music and podcasts from watch. The other reason I chose to buy the Garmin Feniz7s is the watch’s ability to track rowing both on and off the water. So far, this feature seems fairly accurate and I’m happy with the results. If Garmin is able to solve the podcast/music issues, I would be very happy with the watch. I’m conflicted because one of the main features that led me to pay so much for a watch, is not working.
