Description

Pro-X2 Knee Pad

Heavy duty knee pads are great if you're wanting outright protection for downhill laps and days at the bike park. But when you're ripping around at your local trails or heading out for big days in the mountains, you can't have uncomfortable or bulky pads holding you back, especially if you're ride involves plenty of pedaling. The G-Form Pro-X2 Knee Pads are soft, lightweight, and flexible knee pads that give you total comfort on any ride while offering advanced protection thanks to G-Form's RPT technology that hardens upon impact. This means you'll have the coverage you need for unexpected spills and tumbles, but the rest of time you'll barely notice they're on.

  • Lightweight, comfortable knee pads ready to hit the trails
  • Flexible, body-mapped design won't hold you back while pedaling
  • RPT padding hardens upon impact to protect you in a crash
  • Compression sleeves with silicone gripper for a stay-put fit
  • Ventilated pads and wicking fabrics stay cool on hot summer rides
  • UPF 50+ protection to block harmful UV rays

Just replaced my original G-form pro-x knee pads. This updated version (pro-x2) is really awesome. The pad is bigger/longer than the original pro-x version, and in a good way. The added length makes them sit really well on the leg/knee. They really are so comfortable and offer plenty of protection but can do long rides in. I usually wear a medium in everything but with these I have to wear a large (I have relatively skinny legs). I think if you’re a bigger guy you will need xl. Earlier this year I tried a different pair of knee pads with a Velcro strap and even though they were $100 pads that seemed fancy, they dug into my leg and I couldn’t stand them. My original pair of these wasn’t the most durable but still has lasted me 3 seasons which is pretty decent and they will still serve as an extra/backup pair. These are at a great price point as well, in my opinion.

I am so glad that I have these protectors! last night I fell hard on my right knee and nothing happened. They are quite tight, i'm right in the line between a medium and a large, my thigh is 17 inches and stayed with the medium, because the pad on the large one was too big for me. They stay in place, they are super comfortable, I forget that i have them on while riding. I hope this helps!

After searching for a pair of knee pads that would fit my XXL husband, I landed on these and hoped for the best. He LOVES them. "They're the first knee pads that FIT and don't make my legs feel like a sausage!" They also gave him great coverage during a recent tumble.

These pads are extremely comfy and you forget they are there while you are riding. These pads have nailed the comfort 10000%. I am just wondering how the foam will hold up after a crash, or contact with a tree, pedal etc.. I am hoping that the foam will not tear or rip. Time will tell. I had to size up because I was in between sizes L/XL. I am 5'11 and 190lbs. pretty avg size guy, but I still had to order an XL. So far there has been absolutely no problem with sliding down or any such issues. Would highly recommend if you value comfort/Flexibility and you don't intend to leave the ground much.

Great, unobtrusive fit

I feared these were going to be terrible uncomfortable and hot, but was quickly surprised by how easily i forgot I was wearing them. They seemed right when I put them on but loosened up over time. I haven’t had a crash in them yet, but the first is surprisingly good

The Only Way to Go!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I have always been skeptical of throwing some knee pads on. I didn't want them to get in the way of my riding. I put these on and the feel and the fit was there! I started pedaling thinking I am going to have to constantly adjust throughout my ride. The G Form's killed it for me, I didn't have to adjust the whole ride. They gave me enough flexibility to pedal, the inner elastic did not rub me raw or any discomfort. I'm 6' 220 and have muscular stocky legs, the XL's fit amazing!

My favorite trail knee pad!

Familiarity:

This is a really great knee pad and it packs down small enough to put into a pack if you get very hot on long rides, it is however comfortable enough to have one while you pedal and provides great protection. The foam is made to stiffen up at impact which is really rad! I have the burly Elite pads from G-form too and have taken spills on them and came out unscathed. tried and tested by yours truly, if you want something low profile and doesn't skimp out on protection, look no further. The sizing can get a little tricky, the bottom of my thigh (top of knee) measures at 16 inches and I like the fit of the large over the medium. the medium just felt tight! Email me if you have any questions at all.

I used to wear heavier duty Race Face knee pads, but they rubbed the back of my knees raw. These are a little lighter duty, but I can wear them all day with total comfort. I love that the spandex extends up enough to grip onto my padded liner.
