Blast through anything.

When you're steering your downhill rig into destructive terrain, you're ready for whatever unknown you're heading towards. That being said, you'll feel a lot better when you're wearing protection like G-Form's Pro-X Knew-shin Guard. You can count on the Pro-X to save you from leaving too much skin behind on the trails if it later transpires that you weren't, in fact, ready for the unknown.

You're already wearing a pack, elbow guards, and a helmet, so the integrated Pro-X Knee-Shin Guard could also save you from feeling weighed down with separate knee and shin pads. Its articulated CE 1621 certified protection extends laterally across the kneecap and along the shin. Plus, their stretchy, breathable sleeve will keep them in place as you rally hard over the big stuff.

  • Head into a day on lifts with this knee-shin guard as backup
  • Two-piece design doesn’t inhibit movement as you ride
  • UPF 50+ protects skin from the sun
  • Breathable fabric provides a compressive fit that moves with you
  • Mesh back improves airflow and wicks moisture

Ride in comfort

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Stay safe and ride in comfort with these bad boys. I chose to get extra protection with the shin pads just in case I slipped off my pedals and the pedal flipped back up onto my shin. I haven't fallen on these but the pedals have come back and hit my shins and I was glad I was wearing these. They are so light and comfortable. I went with a XS. They will stretch out just a bit so make sure to follow the measurement guide when ordering. Have fun out there!

Ride in comfort

Poor build quality

5 stars for comfort. I had rigid Lizard Skins knee and shin pads before so these flexible pads were a joy to wear in comparison.

    Stay put knee pads.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I had slip on pads someone loaned me for a while that kept falling down or twisting around. What a complete departure these pads are from those. They stay put and are super comfortable.

    Don't wait to buy armor

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought these after a nice crash that bruised my shin bone that kept me off the bike for about 6 weeks. They are comfortable and seem like there will be a good amount of protection during a wipe out. If you are between sizes I'd recommend going to the larger size or order two sizes and return the one you don't want. They do bunch up a little behind the knee, which there should have been a fabric cut out to make them feel better when knee is fully bent.

    Not enough padding

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have had these for a couple of years. They need to be 2" longer above the knee, 2" longer below the knee, and have padding all the way to both ends. If my pedal comes back and smacks my shin it isn't covered at all in the right place. Above the knee I've had a bar end dig into my thigh just above my knee where there is no padding. They are a good idea poorly executed.

Good if your shins are a few inches long

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Definitely does not cover the entire lower half of my shin. So a pedal strike would still ruin half my shin. Returned and use a separate shin and knee guard. Only use shin guard when I feel like I might need it (jumping).

I am taller 6'5" so factor that in.

Seems great, ended up returning for size

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Overall seem very nice and would be comfortable unfortunately they did not work for me as they were too tight, will try on a few others and see what will work for me but they are soft impact gel that seem like great quality.

    Comfortable, stay in place

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought a medium and I am a 5'3 125lbs. It's a comfort fit. No scratchy area, no restriction in your movement. It's more comfortable than mcDavids hex pads. I wore it in the 80s, it's hot but it's breathable. I have sensitive skin and it didn't irritate my skin either.

    Soo good!!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

I've had these for a year or so and they have been used more recently. I wear them as shin pads on the climbs and then pull them up for the descending. Had a crash last week whilst walking a trail and trashed my shin and had I been wearing these I would have been fine. Fabric is thin on sides and back so pedal bite will rip a hole in them. They are long enough to cover most of the shin, maybe some of the bottom bits could be used on the side for added coverage. Just about to get a 2nd pair.
