So far so good

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are my first set of elbow pads and I've only used them once so far but initial impressions are good. Used them downhilling at Trestle Bike Park in Colorado and completely forgot about them while I was riding. They are a bit warm so I don't think they'd be fun to climb with but I really only plan to use them on DH days and shuttle laps.

It's Alright

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Super lightweight, small enough to pack into your pocket. Love the slimmer look on these compared to other bulkier pads. Good for minor falls but anything bigger than that, you're going to have a real bad day. I wrecked myself hard at Slickrock in Moab and this pad failed me, fabric ripped and ended up with a scraped elbow.

These saved me.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've taken a few tumbles with these and they held up great. I'm pretty sure they prevented a broken elbow. The fit seems right on and they were comfortable.

Light Duty Trail Protection

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Have been using these pads most recently in Moab and have been very impressed so far.
I am a particular fan of how small these pack down to keep in your pack for the descent down, they provide arm warmer type warmth on the colder rides but certainly aren't over the top warm on warm days. Also, love that these pads do not take away from mobility in the arms or elbows.

I must say that I have not crashed hard on these pads and don't feel that they will hold the test of time if you will be on your elbows or in the rocks much.

They are a go-to pad for that piece of mind protection 'just in case' but feel a harder shell pad would be a better option for someone looking to spend a good amount of time shredding the local bike park or rolling around in the dirt & rocks.

Great product

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: large

Great cost to value. They fit great, they fit in a cargo pocket really well (if you're doing mellow climbs in warm weather, on the way to terrain you'll need them for), and they protect well for scrapes and minor bumps. These aren't going to do a ton to protect your elbows from huge collisions, but for the size and comfort, 5-stars all the way.

Size is a weird thing. I wear L to XL t-shirts, and have fairly muscular arms, and I wear a large in these pads. They're pretty snug, but that's probably what you're going for.

Wow. I am super impressed with G-Form.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The time had come where I needed some good protection for BMX racing. I figured if G-Form was good enough for the Olympic gold medalist (Connor Fields and Mariana Pajon) then I should go with them as well.
Love the technology implemented and the strategic placement of the pads in the vital areas. In the past, I used protection that was just too bulky and restrictive. You can easily wear this protection under your race jersey and pants without hindering range of motion.
The sizing chart was spot on and everything is very form fitting. The elastic bands on the pads really stood out to me. They are strong and don’t get loose during riding. Everything stayed in place the way it should be.
I have not crashed yet while wearing this product but already I feel more confident and barely notice that I am wearing it during a race. Five stars all the way. Great products and well worth the price.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These pads are must have for any rider. They may not have the most padding but they definitely can take a pretty good fall, tree scrape, or prevent raspberries. They give you a bit more confidence too! Buy these if you want some entry level padding at a good price.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

G Form is the only bike protection I can stand to wear without feeling like it’s getting in my way. These elbow pads rock, I highly recommend them.

Awesome protection for how light they ar

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've only gone down a hand full of times with these on but well worth it, very light and comfortable.

Comfortable and Breathable

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love these G-Form pads. They are lightweight, super comfortable, and they wick moisture pretty well. The padding is like a soft rubber material so they flex with you on every movement. Upon impact, the material hardens up to protect you. I haven't seen a more comfortable elbow pad.

Perfect for Peddling

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave these as a gift, he digs them. The size guide is spot on. They'r e not overly warm for a hot day, and allow for the arm to break, sweat, dry, etc. Slim enough to wear under a long sleeve. And good for general wear on an untamed trail with branches, brush, etc. Recommend these for any rider who just wants a bit of impact protection.

Lightweight with heavyweight performance

These pads are very nice. The RPT Impact Protection is amazing how it will be soft and gel like when riding but firm up as soon as they take a hit to redistribute impact force. These are some of my favorite knee pads that I have used and would recommend them to anyone looking for a lightweight pad.

    Light weight

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Comfortable light weight and don't slip down you forget there on.

    great protection - light weight

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I endo'd hard trying to clear a gap to a road, landed on my elbows when I hit the asphalt. Thought I'd break at least some bone. These elbow pads did their job. unbelievable, my elbows were only mildly bruised. I would not have guessed they would suck up that much impact. I'm sold. They stay put. Give you some abrasion resistance in the non-pad area. Comfortable enough for all day riding.

    Light, Comfortable, Strong

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These pads are fantastic. They are extremely comfortable and keep your extremities protected. While riding I do not feel as though my arms are restricted and the material is quite breathable. So far I have not fallen while wearing them so nothing to report yet about how effective they are, but I can certainly say that they give me peace of mind while riding. I'm a fairly small fellow, 5'8" 145 lbs, and I found the mediums to fit very comfortably.

    Cheaper than an ER visit

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

From what I've heard from friends in the nursing profession the most common ER visit from mountain biking is for lacerations on the elbow. These are a great answer to that problem. The pads are breathable and don't restrict movement while wearing them. I've found myself even wearing the pads while pedaling up since the fabric and even the padded area breathes well. They can also take an impact well, I went down in a rock garden first thing with them and they not only protected my skin, but they came out looking pretty as well.

    Very light weight

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I finally found an extra small elbow pad that fits my scrawny girl arms.. I do wish they were a bit more flexible when I bend my arms but they aren't too bad I barely notice them. They are just hard to get off when sweaty. I don't think sizing up would have helped me much. I haven't fallen in these yet but I feel safer in them. I'm just glad I won't get too scraped up and scar up my arm tattoos now.

    G-Form Elbow Pads

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Recently I wrecked pretty hard at Canyons bike park with no knee or elbow protection. I scrapped my elbow pretty bad enough to want to get elbow pads. These pads are very flexible and don't get too hot while riding. I haven't wrecked with them on yet, but they seem like they will do very well with protection because of how hard they get on impact. I would recommend these to anyone who rides bikes or does extreme sports.
