Pro Road Chainring

FSA's Pro Road Chainrings are the ideal replacement inner and outer rings for cranksets with a BCD (bolt circle diameter) of 110 millimeters or 130 millimeters. Machined from AL7075-T6, they are ramped and pinned by the shift-obsessed engineers at FSA to ensure that shifting is precise and smooth with no chain suck. Cause chain suck, well, it sucks. The outer rings feature stainless steel pins for corrosion resistance, and both inner and outer rings accommodate five bolt spiders for compatibility with SRAM and Shimano.

The FSA Pro Road Chainrings are compatible with Shimano and SRAM 11 and 10-speed drivetrains, and are available in 110 mm BCD in sizes 36t, 46t, 50t, and 52t, and 130 mm BCD in sizes 39t and 53t in the color Black.

Is the 110x36t ramped and pinned, and able to be used as an outer ring? Trying to find an outer ring at 36 or 38t for my double, so I can use a 24t small ring.

Not a good fit with 2005 Dura-Ace

I've put it through the wringer

I was sold this part as a plug and play replacement for the 53-G Shimano part. The machining is quite inferior compared to the Shimano, the stainless pin is way too long and needs to be cut down with a grinder to not interfere with the crank. And the bolt recess doesn't fit the stock Shimano bolts. Once I did my best to modify to fit shifting was never smooth and the parts never quite seated flat on the crank spindles. In short, this ended up being a waste of money and I had to go elsewhere to get the Dura-Ace parts.

Bought a year ago but it seems to have worn out faster than the original and today on a quick 20 mileish it bent. not sure how but I was starting an out of saddle effort and was already in the big ring.


What is the difference between the "Super" and the 'Pro" FSA rings?

I think the super are longer lasting AL 7075 alloy

Great Upgrade From Compact Chain set

I've used it several times

As part of a build-up, I decided to switch my Ultegra compact chain set and move to a 52/36 set up. The FSA chain rings work like a charm if they are just a little plain looking in their all-black format. They work great though and I like it much better than the compact
