The central upgrade in this generation is the GRIP X2 damper, which replaces the outgoing Grip 2 unit with a meaningfully reworked internal package. A larger diameter base valve reduces operating pressures throughout the stroke, and the valve stack count has been tripled to expand the tuning range well beyond what previous damper generations offered. The result is a fork that can be configured for genuine sensitivity at the top of the travel without sacrificing mid-stroke support or bottom-out resistance under heavy loads. Four independent adjustment circuits covering high and low speed compression alongside high and low speed rebound give riders the same tuning depth available in the Factory GRIP X2 build.
