That's because these orange lowers were previously reserved for the best enduro racers in the world, now being offered exclusively on this 36 Float Team Edition Fork. Despite its special graphics, it retains all the best features you've come to love from the newest 36 Float, notably a plush off-the-top feel with unflappable support as you plunge into steep, rock-strewn terrain and hit formidable drops.

For 2018 it's upgraded with EVOL technology, which increases its negative air spring volume for greater sensitivity to bumpy sections with rocks and roots. This particular version of the 36 Float gives discerning riders a greater range of adjustment with its FIT damper providing independent control over high and low-speed compression. This option is welcome if you're the type of rider dialing in every last detail of your fork's operation, especially if you find the stock settings (i.e. Open, Medium, Firm) to be insufficient for your riding style.

36-millimeter stanchions are incredibly stiff, working hard to deflect torsional forces from bucking you silly when you're rallying across boulder sections, taking bigger hits in the bike park, and dropping into precipitously steep descents. These stanchions benefit from FOX's Kashima coating, which reduces friction for a smoother, more sensitive feel on the trail. Not only does the Kashima coating improve overall sensitivity, but it's also tougher than the black anodized stanchions of FOX's more budget forks.
