FOX Racing Shox36 Float 29 Grip 2 Factory Boost Fork
Item # FRSC05U
36 Float 29 Grip 2 Factory Boost Fork
You're probably well aware of just how supportive and plush the FOX 36 Float feels when you're pushing the limit on everything from fast flow trails to the gnarliest tech this side of a dual-crown fork. With its stiff chassis and extremely smooth damping, the 36 makes quick work of even the most challenging terrain. The 36 Float 29 Grip 2 Factory Boost Fork is FOX's flagship model, equipped with Kashima-coated stanchions, the top-level Grip 2 damper with Variable Valve Control, low-friction seals, and a supportive mid-valve design that resists brake dive when the trail gets steep.
- FOX's premiere fork for aggressive trail riding and enduro racing
- Choose between 150mm or 160mm of plush, supportive travel
- Grip 2 damper with Variable Valve Control over HSC/LSC and HSR/LSR
- Separately dial-in high/low-speed compression, high/low-speed rebound
- Updated mid-valve design increases support for reduced brake dive
- Kashima coating and EVOL air spring for small-bump compliance
- Low-friction seals achieve a more sensitive feel over bumps
- 44 or 51mm offset for tailoring it to your 29er's geometry

Industry leading fork for enduro

- I've put it through the wringer
- Fit:
- True to size
- Height
- 5` 10"

The Fox 36 with the grip 2 damper was already the industry leading fork, and they went and made it even better! After recently shredding a high elevation mountain bike park and seeing the difference burping my lowers with a zip tie made, I knew I needed the new 36 with the bleed ports. Setting up the fork was easy, and it rides great. I did have to add additional rebound over the recommended amount as it was very slow and wallowy, leading to traction issues when transitioning over certain features as the tire wouldn't get back to the ground in a reasonable manner. I'm a heavy dude and I did find myself near the end of the adjustments. If you are much heavier than myself... this probably won't work for you, but I doubt any product will anyways! Overall though, kicked but as a fork and I'm happy!

What is the “offset” on a fork and what difference does it make to the performance if any? Thanks
