All-Around MTB Short

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Shorter length mountain bike shorts, they have a mid-weight canvas feel that's got a slight stretch, overall they are flattering on tall and skinny people. If you want something that covers the gap between the thigh and knee, these may run a tad bit short to avoid branch scratches.

Love these shorts

  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: small

Fit great, really padded lining, easy to adjust

Wish I loved it

  • Size Bought: s

I tried these shorts in M (too big) and S. The short was a great fit but the liner was too tight so sadly it has to go back as well. The short is very nice fitting, well-made. I might have kept it if it had zipper pockets and I could use a different liner but the lack of pockets was a deal-breaker.

New go to!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These shorts are great. Comfortable and easy to adjust. I got a L at first which was too big ( I am a little under 6'1 and 154lbs for reference). Excited to use this for some Fall riding :)

Thanks for the helping with sizing, Elizabeth. It's so helpful for our community!

Best Bike Shorts

Great length, color, cut and fit. Worth getting multiple pairs of these for sure,

Best I've Found

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Medium

I think I tried 75% of the MTB shorts we have on the site, and these were by far the best (least awful looking). I realize that's not the only thing that matters, so for what it's worth, these have also held up incredibly well throughout the season and they're the only shorts I have. I'm a 28" waist and the Mediums fit perfectly (though the Size Chart says Large would be my size). The waistband on the chamois is thin elastic, so it squeezes in an unflattering way... but until Lulu breaks into the MTB market, these'll do perfectly.

Awesome Mountain Bike Short

AWESOME! Fit TRUE to size!!

I read reviews, sized up to a Large, waaaay too big. Bought Mediums, PERFECT!!!! Love them :-) โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ

Great fit

  • Fit: True to size

I got these in a small for my 22 year old sister. She is 5'4" and about 120 pounds. She loves how they fit! Above the knee and not baggy, but not too tight either. Comfortable to ride in and great mobility. The padded liner is a plus.

Comfy, But Wish They Came In XS!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Size Bought: Small

Rob's wife here. I'm pretty tiny -- 5'2'', 115 lbs -- so it has been difficult to find a pair of mountain biking shorts that fit properly. I loved the look of these so I decided to try them out, but was bummed to learn they don't make them in an XS. Why?! Anyway, I gave the S a shot and used the tabs inside at the waistband to make them tighter. I can't say they are the most flattering, but they work and are super duper comfortable. Also, the navy color is rad. Overall, these are the best yet!

Perfect Mountain Bike Shorts

Great mountain bike shorts! Highly recommend for anyone just getting into mountain biking. And seriously let's hear it for removable chamois - such a great feature!

These are great shorts for all biking conditions.

Ripley Rips

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

Shorts sit above the knee, they come with a chamois / padded shorts liner in them which you can take out an remove. No pockets in them, which I like for mobility of the short themselves.
