Hello pockets?

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I bought these for my girlfriend. She loves the bright colors and the fit is perfect. She typically wears a medium and did the same in this. Durability seems to be great but her biggest gripe is the lack of pockets. The one tiny pocket in the back ins kind of useless, leaving you to carry a pack even if you just want to bring a phone.

Great bike shorts.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: small

I've been super happy with these bike shorts. They definitely fit slightly tight, and they don't really stretch so if you want them a little looser I would order a size up. They're super comfortable and pretty low profile. The chamois that it comes with is super comfortable and provides just the right amount of padding.

Rad shorts!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

These shorts have found their way into my regular rotation for sure. I dig the durable fabric and the chamois is pretty good. Nothing like my road riding Assos bib shorts but they get the job done for a couple hours on the mountain bike. I would definitely note that the shorts are small around the legs, so if you have bigger thighs, these shorts might not be a good fit for you. I would maybe suggest sizing up as the medium is a little tight on me but having come from a road background, tighter feels perfect for me. Overall, these are a great bang for your buck and I would totally recommend them.

Sweet Shorts

I bought these as a gift. The plum color looks great and the liner short has nice padding and is removable. These are also very lightweight and are great in warmer temps.

Worked for my daughter not me

    • Fit: True to size

Ordered these a size up per review.... Should have looked at the weight and height of the reviewer. Too large I'm usually a M which gives me room to move ordered a L and way to big in the waist legs were good so I tried the Velcro adjust hated it but it didn't get me even close. I had my daughter try them (she is an avid cross fit girl) and they work for her the booty was perfect , which is tough to find for her, the waist was still a bit roomy and bottom of leg was snug when pedal but not uncomfortable with the stretch. So she got new gear :) so hard for me to say but I would order your usual size based on the fit on my daughter.

Too tight in the wrong areas.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Small

I gave these three stars because they come with the liners. Also the adjustable waistband is nice. However, I felt they were too tight in the hips and too tight at the bottom (lower thigh area), which is weird. They fit a little snug before I bike and then once I start biking/after biking they are super tight. The shorts have almost no stretch, but the material doesn't feel super stiff, so that's also a mystery.
I normally wear size small, but I would honestly size up in these if you have any curves/muscular legs whatsoever.

Shorts great, liner not so much

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small

The shorts fit really well - slim and not too long for a shorter build. Perfect fit. However, the liner that comes with them has a very low-cut waistband and the stitching on the legs seams is too tight for muscular thighs. I will definitely wear the shorts but probably not the liner.

    Very happy with purchase

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small

I purchased a size small of these shorts and both the padded liners and shorts fit very well, the bright yellow color is as shown online. Very happy with the shorts so far, they are very comfortable and I have used them a handful of times already.

Fit not great for women with any curve

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small

I'm a size 6 but these were built for someone with no curve whatsoever.

Awesome fit and color and great deal

I absolutely love these shorts. They even came with padded shorts and for the price is super good deal. The color is super awesome. I got a small and wear 120 lbs and fit perfectly. I like that they aren't long and super baggy, really cute.

      First Real Mountain Bike Shorts

I used to ride in spandex and decided to finally step up my cool factor this summer. Shorts of this length and style are pretty awkward in general for my body type. I'm 5'3" with an athletic build (read: I have actual thighs) and generally every bottom is made for women blessed with a tall stature. These shorts did the trick for me. I really like the fabric and fit, not too tight, not too baggy, sturdy and slightly water repellant. I also like the internal layer, makes riding comfortable but doesn't feel like I'm wearing a diaper (bonus). Only cons for me: the length is still a little awkward for me, I fluctuate between wanting to pull them up and tighten waistband and wearing them lower on my hips. Picket with a zipper on the front or thigh would be rad. The back pocket is only big enough for a key and I'd love a spot to stash my ID and card and phone when grabbing post ride burgers.

        Good Shorts

        • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
        • Fit: True to size

Bought as a gift and they love the shorts. Comfortable with a good cut. Great color

        Wife loves them

        • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
        • Fit: Runs small

Bought these for my wife and she loves them. The inseam is a great length. It goes about to her knee which is a perfect for her, can be used with knee pads if desired. The detachable liner with chamois pad is always nice to have for long days in the saddle. My wife tells me they fit a bit snug so consider this when determining size.

        My favorite mountain bike shorts

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
        • Fit: Runs small
        • Size Bought: small

yes. i do think these shorts run a little small (and straighter in the hips/waist) but that's why i love them. they're the only shorts i've found that fit my straighter frame. i bought a size small (34.5" hips, 20" thighs). I have several pairs of fox shorts including 2 pairs of last year's version of these in green and blue and this year's plum color.

the outer short is the same. despite the description on the site, there is ONLY ONE POCKET in the back. NO SIDE POCKETS on either year's versions. i was hoping they added hand pockets this year but nope. the description is wrong. the liner is detachable so you can wear it with other shorts if you want and there is a bit of adjustment in the waist with a velcro elastic strap.

the only difference between last and this years shorts seem to be the liner. the new ones have the nicer, more comfortable, less plastic feeling thigh grips.

        According to my wife

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
        • Fit: Runs small
        • Size Bought: Med

They are super comfortable allow for long intense biking without the lower part of your body hurting. They don't bunch up and are not super tight.

These run smaller than the Lynx Shorts

        • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
        • Fit: Runs small
        • Size Bought: Small

I just ordered these in a size Small, which is the size I wore in the Lynx shorts last summer. They definitely run smaller, and the chamois are a little different than in the lynx short as well. I returned them, haven't decided if I will get the Medium here or just order the Lynx short again since I am in love with them from last year. The baggy outer short of this model is a tougher material which I did really like, and the plum color is pretty radical!
