Excellent shorts

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I ride in these exclusively - hard to beat the value for the pricepoint. This is the best version of these yet. Minor modifications include more pliable fabric; better pocket placement and design; perfect chamois fit. Leg openings seem to have gotten a little smaller but have had no issue over the pads - maybe my thighs are finally filling out... Great choice!

Great Trail Shorts

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have two pairs of these shorts. They're very comfortable and breathe well. They're not loose fitting, but stretch as needed -- meaning they don't inhibit movement at all. The zipper and velcro pockets are a nice touch. I haven't used the chamois at all, so I can't comment on them.

Good update to a classic

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I had the old design for quite some time. These have slightly narrower legs for a more tailored fit. No zipper....WHAT? It works, though. I like them better than the old design. I wear the 34 and have to size down slightly with tabs on the shorts. They seem to fit true to size, to me. Liners are OK, but Club Ride Woodchucks are the best!

not to shabby

For me these are a great pair of biking shorts. The deep pockets are great to have. The material on these shorts are super soft. I'm very happy with these shorts.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: m

Nice material, comfortable, stretchy and wicking. However top snap completely came off shorts in the washer on the second wash

I've had a pair of ranger buttons break after unsnapping them twice. I own two other pairs though where they have been fine for months so far. Seems like you either get a good or bad pair and know pretty quickly.

I had the same problem but there is a one year warranty and I am working with FOX now to get them replaced or credit.

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 34

Constructed of thick woven stretch material. I really like that they came with a removable chamois. Downside, like most Fox apparel they run about an inch small in the waist. Size Up!

    Great so far

So far based on basic riding these have been great! The true test will be how they are during my first fall (knock on wood that wont happen). Size is perfect.

      Hard to beat

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 34

These Fox shorts are light and breathable. The chamois does require a few rides to break in...very stiff at first. The liner makes for a more comfortable ride imo. Overall can't go wrong with these.
