Proframe LC

We're advocates for keeping it rubber side down, but some days it seems like the mountain is out to get you. On steep terrain with jagged rocks, or high-speed bike park trails, it's nice to have some extra protection—even if it's only for some much-needed peace of mind. The Fox Proframe LC delivers just that, offering a high level of coverage for your chest and back when you're ripping park laps, checking out a new freeride zone, or dabbling in some downhill or enduro racing.

The soft Biofoam chassis is comfortable against your body, with adjustments at the shoulders and waist so you can find the right fit. The back plate has two positions to further dial in the fit, or you can remove it entirely if you prefer to wear just the chest plate. The Proframe LC is compatible with neck braces too, so no need to worry about your neck brace riding up, an ailment we've had with chest protectors in the past.

  • Chest and back protector for downhill, bike parks, freeride, enduro
  • Biofoam chassis is soft & conforms comfortably to your body
  • Adjustable at shoulders and waist to dial in the fit
  • Two position back plate further improves fit, or can be removed entirely

Protect Yo' Chest!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I wear this for rowdy riding - shuttle or lift access DH primarily. I bought the S/M size and have a 39" chest. It fits well, plus there is a plenty of adjustment.

Just like any other piece of body armor or protection, its not necessary but provides great peace of mind. I have taken some pretty hard slams that this helped me from getting beaten up more than I did. I don't normally wear a neck brace, but like that this is compatible with one.

As for actual riding in it, I wouldn't mind pedaling a touch with it, but its not ideal for a long climb. With that said, its definitely low profile and it's not a hassle to have on for any sort of descent with it!

One feature that would be way cool would be an integrated GoPro chest mount with it. Might epoxy one on myself though!
