Just the right amount of protection.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Many elbow pads should be considered knee pads for how large they are. These elbow pads cover just what you need covered. I prefer the fox launch pad elbow pads as I can wear them going both uphill and downhill. Very comfy and they don't irritate my skin.
just what I needed
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
These pads are good quality, minimal, pads that offer enough flexibility and reasonable comfort. I tend to land on my left elbow on falls to that side so this was just what I needed. The sizing chart was right on in my experience.
I've tried almost all the elbow pads for mountain biking on Backcountry - trying to find the perfect pair. I'm a female on the petite side, so finding elbow pads are challenging. Gform XS gave me severe arm pump! Love these. Comfortable, easy to put on my arms or over a long sleeve shirt on colder days. Crashed twice and the pads did their job. Sizing is good (small is small enough) and they wash well. Highly recommend. I'all be getting another pair once these get old.
Picked these up after a couple of crashes, was always one that said I'm good with no armor. Yeah, not so much with some dirt rash on the arms. Went with the mediums. Were a little tight the first couple of times but are much more comfortable now.
Really like that they are not bulky. Have not had to give them a good test yet. Did work great for clipping a tree that got to close.
