No doubt.

If there's any doubt that the men's Attack Shorts are all-mountain thoroughbreds, then the removable liner, Comp Chamois, and strategic ventilation should dispel it immediately. The shorts' Tru-Motion fabric allows four-way stretch while muscling the bike through corners, and the low-profile, laser-cut pockets zip closed to protect stowed gear and hinder grasping branches.

Sizing is way off!

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I normally wear a large 34 or a small 36. The 34 was painfully tight, and the 36 was beyond baggy.

Good shorts. Run 1/2 size large

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: 34

These are nice fabric. Compared to other fox 34 shorts and pants these are less adjustable and a bit bigger. On the Rachet closure style in generally on the last few notches. These are a good fit in the tighter setting. I’d call them 34.5. Good color and a great deal on sale with the removable padded liner.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Pretty good pair of shorts. The pockets sit a little too far back and are pretty much impossible to use while riding, but that's not a big deal for me. The fabric is holding up nicely. Ran a little large and there's not a whole lot of adjustment on the shorts. They used some light stitching to close the fly which eventually tore out, but didn't damage the shorts so was easy to repair. The liner is friggin awesome.

Bike Shorts

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: 32

For the most part they're bike shorts that get the job done. Some particular highlights: super soft, super breathable, super comfortable chamois
Some lowlights: run LARGE, stained from mud on the first ride (who cares)

I Love These Shorts

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: 32

I'm used to biking in heavier, baggier downhill shorts, so these were a pleasant surprise. They're remarkably light, and they have holes all the way up the inseam for breathability. They don't retail smell, and they're still long enough to be downhill shorts, they're just slightly slimmer through the leg. Like all Fox shorts I own, they definitely run large, so size down. I usually wear a 33, and a 32 is still a little big on me. Luckily, these have a couple different snaps, so you can make them bigger or smaller.

Great shorts, glow in the dark

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: 34

I went with the Flo Yellow and these things are bright! Doesn't make it easy to get dirt out, but they are meant to get dirty so not really a concern, just something to note. They fit a little bit larger than some of my other shorts, but great fit and design.

Great shorts

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large

These are incredibly comfortable. They fit a bit large and look great. Nice to remove the liner and just wear whenever. It would be nice with a little more adjustment options.

Comfy, run big

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: 30

These are really great, super light weight and relatively form fitting for those of us who have skinnier legs and don't want to have super baggy shorts. They do run a bit big, I usually wear a 32 waist and I ordered the 30 and they fit just right. I do wish they had any sort of waist adjuster, they do not and the fabric does not have much stretch in the waist either. Otherwise, they are a great short and I've enjoyed them a lot so far.

Love the shorts, not the chamois

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 32

These shorts are awesome. Fit allows freedom of movement without being too baggy. Length goes to the top of my kneepads when I'm standing. Fabric is super light, stretchy and soft but still feels pretty durable (haven't field tested this yet, knock on wood). I have a 33" waist and the size 32 fits well. The blue looks great and the styling is nice and mellow (at least as far as mtb gear goes).

Shorts are great, but the product loses a star for the chamois. The design seems good with a small, dense piece of foam that is just as comfortable with way less bulk than my old one, but the fit is way tight for me. The shorts fit perfect, but I can barely get the chamois on. It's almost like they accidentally gave me a size smaller, but I know that's not the case.

Overall I'm still really happy with the purchase because I mostly needed shorts and not a chamois. I'm kinda bummed though because if it was a little bigger I think I'd really like it. Gonna try and suffer through a few rides with it and see if I can stretch it out.

Great Shorts.

These shorts are breathable and super lightweight, super comfortable. The chamois is great, and the pockets are deep. Similar to other Fox shorts I own, they fit large. I normally wear a 33 and occasionally a 34, and the 32s fit well, just how you'd like.

Feels so right!

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: 36

Feels amazing! These shorts are awesome, but run a bit big! Ended up returning this pair and ordered another pair in a smaller size. Love the feel, love the pair of chamois that come with them and super excited to get the new pair!

Am I even wearing shorts?

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: 32

FOX has never let me down and these shorts are worth every penny. Light, breathable, just the right amount of baggy and perfect fit. I'm 5'9 32 waist and the 32 fits well. Its a bit loose around the waist but its not like they are falling off me. Belt loops for my Arcade belt would make these shorts all time. Nice zippered flat pockets don't bunch or add extra bulk. The hem falls right in the middle of my knee pads. The stock liner is a big improvement from previous versions I've had but nothing compares to upgrading to a premium liner. Perfect length. I'm using these for XC & Trail riding.

Super comfy, cool, light stylish vented

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: 30

These shorts are super comfy and light. They're my first pair of biking shorts so I don't have much to compare to other than the pair of Poc Trail shorts I ordered when I ordered these. I immediately returned the Poc's after comparing the two. I rode 50 miles this week in these shorts in 80 degree heat and absolutely love them. I've haven't worn the chamois they came with because I never wear chamois, but they seem pretty nice. I'm 5"10, 150 lbs. I bought size 30. The fit is very nice, although I'm on the smallest setting of the five options the buttons give you. Pockets are nice and deep. You should buy these shorts now, but not at full price because that is just ridiculous for any pair of shorts.
5 stars for now, I'll have to see how well they hold up.
