Who clips in these days?

Some like to attract attention with their personal stylings, and for them, there's the Blue Zebra. However, if you like to let your riding tell your tale, then the Five Ten Freerider Shoe in black/grey will do the trick. The understated colors will help you keep a low profile, that is, until you tailwhip over the big double at your local dirt jump spot and stick the pedals for a perfect landing.

Five Ten's Stealth Rubber was developed for rock climbing shoes. As such, it has excellent gription which makes it super easy to keep your feet on the pedals. Just think, no shinburger for dinner... again. It's also super durable. It had to be tough for climbing shoes to suffer the wear and tear from hard granite cliffs for days on end. The Freerider Shoes may just have a tougher job. They have to endure the prodding from the metal spikes on your pedals all day, but the Stealth Rubber can take it. Five Ten Stealth Rubber soles will outlast the gum rubber sole on a conventional skate shoe every time and stick better to your pedals all the while.

The Freerider Shoe has all the style that you want and the bomber sole that you need to land big tricks without blowing your feet. The grey panels on the upper are made of brushed nubuck leather. The toe box is reinforced to provide added protection if you lose it in mid-air. And one of the coolest details is the California license plate on the back of the heel.

The Five Ten Freerider Shoe is available in Black/Grey, Red/Black, Red/Grey, and Orange/Grey and comes in half sizes from 4 - 12  and whole sizes 13 and 14.

  • Mountain biking shoes designed with tough grip and versatile comfort
  • Nubuck leather uppers with reinforced toe box last through seasons
  • Stealth Rubber soles grip pedal spikes and slick surfaces alike

My favorite shoe!!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: 9.5

Use this with Deity Bladerunners and the grip is amazing!!! The sole is very stiff and even when only one section of the shoe is touching another section of the pedal, it feels as if you were on solid ground. Plus the sole is very grippy without dragging, really helped today when having to climb some boulders.

Also ordered some for my friend, they’re so comfortable he wears them to work!!!

Super comfy

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Love these shoes! They are super comfortable and super durable. I use these shoes for both enduro/singletrack riding and also downhill and they are perfect for both, they have just the right amount of padding that downhill I feel protected and when peddling singletrack there not hot at all. Size wise they fit me a bit big but I’m always in between a 8.5 and 9.0 ( I ordered a 9) I probably will get a 8.5 when I get my next pair! Overall great shoe highly recommend them !

Great shoe

Super sticky. Holds the pedals great and secure. Runs a little large. Normally wear a 10/10.5 and the size 10 I got were a little big but nothing to return them over.

Classic Five Ten Style & Quailty

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Can't beat the classic Freerider. Comfortable, sticky soles, and style that works from the mountain to the bar.

    Great shoe

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Fit is true to size, tread is 5.10 so its great. stiff yet comfortable. what more can you ask for

    Why Clip In?

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 9

Pair these with a Deity pedal and you're not going anywhere. If you're going to do flat pedals, do it right with the right shoe. Many people rush to clip but nothing teaches you better bike handling and proper technique like a killer flat pedal interface. I wear these shoes every day, even on days when I leave the bike at home. They are comfortable, last about 2 years of everyday use, and I'm always ready to hit a trail or the dirt jump park after work. I'm on my 4th pair and I've found they run true to size with the outsole deteriorating well before the rest of the shoe. When my pedals start to feel a little bit uncomfortable, I usually get a new pair despite the uppers looking like new.

    Stick to the pedals

These shoes are super sticky no more loosing grip on the pedals. Sizing is true to size. We will see about durability in a few months

      Fit is on point

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The grip on the soles of these shoes are awesome. super durable as well! deff recommend these shoes!

      Stylish Everyday and riding shoes

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I strongly recommend these shoes for the grip of the stealth shoes and the overall durability! I have worn these shoes everyday for the last year riding, skateboarding and walking around! They have held together substantially better then any other shoe I have owned. The shoes do shoes signs of wear in the mesh and parts of the sole, but they still work great. By know, I would have gone through 2.5 pairs of skate shoes in comparison.

      Awesome bike shoe

I bought these for my boyfriend. He's been eyeing them for months. The soles are super grippy and provide great traction on flats. He says they're really comfortable and fit true to size. The black/slime is pretty sharp looking too.

        Five 10 - awesome shoes

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are really the bomb for mountain biking.

        Great shoes may even buy

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great shoes. I am even considering a second pair. They are seriously comfortable, and what I like about them is you can keep them tied and they are easy to slip on, but tight to your feet. They help stick to the pedals of your bike and are great for riding, but I also wear them when lifting weights at the Y or just casually. I am probably going to buy a second, higher end pair of your brand of shoes, I am pretty impressed. For 100 bucks these shoes are a steal. And I normally wear 9.5s to 10s and I bought 10s, and they fit perfectly. So I would probably buy the larger end of shoe size you usually wear. Thanks for the great product!

        Changing the game

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I recently purchased the shoes due to the outstanding reviews and positive feedback from peers on them. After one ride in them, I can already see why. The comfort of the shoe, along with the stability makes them fantastic on any ride!

        Best Flat Pedal Shoe!

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This shoe is grippy, strong and comfortable. They last longer than skate shoes. They do not have the flex that skate shoes do.

        Flat Pedal Friendly

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times
        • Fit: Runs small

If not the best, definitely this is the shoe that most mtb riders recommend when you are riding on flat pedals. The sole digs in to your pedal pins like having a clip on your shoes when you step on your pedal yet do not have to twist or snap your foot to step out from the pedal. I am a regular 9 and based on the number of reviews, I ordered size 9.5 and fits me perfect with enough room on the toes.

        Nice shoes

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Have about 250 miles on these shoes so far. Great shoe , very pleased with the product. Seems to be a very durable shoe , 👍👍
