Transcend the trail.

Five Ten's men's Freerider Canvas Shoes may not be the first pair of kicks to fit in on the trail, at the park, or at the bar, but they are the first to marry the Freerider body and sole to the always-appropriate look of canvas. By cloaking a pedal-ready build with a canvas upper, the Freerider Canvas Shoes effectively transcend the trail.

Five Ten officially classifies the Freerider Canvas as "lifestyle inspired." Given the shoes' non-marking, grippy Phantom soles and Stealth Dotty tread, this opaque description must translate to shoes that keep your feet riveted to pedals, skate decks, or barstool rails while leaving no trace on hardwood or stained concrete.

Size not constant...

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

These are "okay" shoe that, in my personal opinion, are simply overpriced. I have other Five Ten shoes and had some Freerider in the past as they own the market but these came a full size too small and narrow. Sad...

As always, never let down with Five Ten. The shoes are super grippy, same as all the other free riders, and the canvas was a plus for slightly colder or muddier rides. I love them!

Rides good, feels good, looks good

Finally a breathable, grippy, durable shoe that you can keep on for some post ride apps and brews in town. I've raked these shoes across rocky and rooty dirt in Flagstaff with no picks or pilling of the canvas and they have tons of grip when scouting the slick rock in Sedona. When have to hike-a-bike these shoes outshine anything I've previously worn After a full season of riding these shoes only show some darkening of the khaki rubber on the sole. Black shoes maintain their color and show little to no staining. Hope they keep these in the line up.

    Great buy

I really like these shoes. They fit true to size and from the moment I pulled them out of the box and tried them on, I was absolutely sold on them. They are comfortable and easy to wear for long periods of time. They grip my pedals and give me awesome control. I would say a must have if you are looking for a solid, comfortable shoe with some sweet style.

such a sweet pair of shoes. The canvas upgrade is the best option for a long lasting durable biking shoe. Really awesome for those long downhill days. As far as grip there is no better then stealth rubber on some fresh pins. Keeps you locked in for those big whips, and getting pinned out on your favorite trail. Finally they pass the bar test and not only work for biking. If you have any questions feel free to reach out. Would be happy to be your expert shopping for bike gear on the site!

    Hi Justin,
How about width? I have fairly narrow feet and here in Trinidad it is always hot and humid. I imagine the canvas would be nice, aerated and light but wide shoes will not work for me.

Great Looking shoe and great rubber

Love the way this shoe looks and it's easy to see the quality is there. Five Ten's stealth rubber can't be beat. Can't speak to the durability of the rubber yet as I haven't put enough time in on them yet.
