Really Comfortable

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
150 mm

Obviously pricey, but light and really comfortable with an even, balanced fit. No pressure points whatsoever either around the hips or up front. First use was on a >4 hrs ride and didn’t once think about the saddle. Part of the need to get this was to replace the OEM saddle which was too narrow, so strongly recommend making sure you get the right width.

Fizik Argo Adaptive ok on Roads & Trails

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
140mm
Height:
5' 10"
Weight:
175

I purchased a Fizik Argo Adaptive saddle last summer for use on my gravel bike which doubles as my smart trainer bike. I have enjoyed the saddle quite a bit on trails and roads, but it hurts significantly when riding stationary on the smart trainer. When shifting positions on trails or roads, the saddle is comfortable and conforming. When the saddle is used on the indoor trainer, it becomes unbearable, no amount of standing and shifting weight on the indoor trainer ever makes this saddle feel right on a trainer. Likewise I would dread using this on a time trial bike where your position is mostly stationary. I would give this 4 stars for the gravel trails and road, 1 star for the trainer. I have to swap out the saddle for my old WTB volt when it’s on the trainer. At its price point, I think it’s probably worth it if you’re exclusively riding roads and trails. Indoors, it’s a waste of money. I won’t be purchasing another Fizik 3D printed saddle. Waste of money. Plenty better saddles out there for less. Their technology hasn’t replaced the previous generation of high quality saddles.
