I was really excited about these shoes. They seemed to have everything I was looking for in a biking shoe. BUT, I pulled them out of the box to wear around the house for the day, to break them in while working from home, and the tongue on the left shoe pulled out BEFORE I COULD EVEN GET THE SHOE TIED. It's not like I was even tugging on the tongue to get the shoe on, they fit great so it slipped right on. The tongue popped off when I was shifting it back to center over my foot. Apparently they don't sew their tongues on at all, they're glued on with the TINIEST little smudge of glue, smaller than a quarter. I'm surprised it stayed on even during shipping. For what comes across as a higher end brand, clearly Fi'zi:k does not follow through on their build quality. Unfortunately, I will be back to the search for another shoe .. and another brand entirely =(
