Description

Strong like bull.

You love cycling, but you don't love getting saddle sores or bruised tissue from a sub-15-mile ride, and we don't blame you, but with everyone's anatomy being a little bit different, finding the saddle that fits you like a puzzle piece that's been missing for years can be tricky. For those with wider sit bones, a little less flexibility, and hips that like to feel lively and move on the saddle, theFi'zi:k Aliante R1 Versus EVO Saddle just might be the piece you were looking for. This saddle combines Fi'zi:k's decades of innovation with the newest technology on the book for a perfect fit that cushions, alleviates pressure, and keeps you comfortable from afternoon group rides to centuries, and beyond.

The Aliante R1 Versus EVO combines a few key technologies to form a great saddle. To start, it's shell is crafted from carbon fiber injected nylon, providing you with a stiff shell that doesn't waiver under pressure, but just enough flex and vibration damping to keep you comfortable when you move fore and aft. The rails underneath the shell are also made from a braided carbon fiber, shaving weight wherever possible, and absorbing just a bit more of that road chatter. When it comes to cushioning your sit bones balance is key — too much padding and you'll feel like you're on a clumsy beach cruiser, but not enough will leave you sore for days to come. Fi'zi:k takes this as a challenge, targeting thin layers of dense Comfort Core foam in the right areas, and opening things up in the middle for the Versus pressure relief channel. This channel works similarly to a cut-out, but keeps a little material for added stiffness. It takes the pressure off of your most sensitive tissue, maxing out the comfort for all-day epics on the road. It's topped off with a light Microtex cover that's smooth against your shorts, but stands up to years of riding and abuse for many comfortable miles to come.

  • A classic saddle revisited with Versus technology
  • Versus channel relieves pressure on sensitive tissue
  • EVO Comfort Core padding cushions sit bones on long rides
  • Carbon-injected shell is stiff and supportive
  • Save weight and dampen vibrations with braided carbon rails
  • Comfortable wide profile for riders with low body flexibility
  • Designed for riders who fall into Fizik's Bull classification
