Link Plus DayBright Light Combo

Dreary commutes are a downer, but staying seen while you weave your way through back alleys is a definite plus. The Exposure Link Plus DayBright Light Combo is the perfect go-to for those dimly lit days, covering you from front and behind as you make your way across town, whether its through busy intersections after dark, or dusty back roads. While compact, it offers both front and rear ligh, either individually or simultaneously, so you can see and be seen on your way home. The light mounts to helmets with ease with the included strap, and has an array of setting to provide light bright enough to be seen in daylight, or to guide your way through darkness. One of our favorite features of the Link Plus DayBright Light Combo is its Optimum Mode Selector, which allows you to tell the light how long you'll be on the bike, and let it automatically select the optimum lighting for your ride, ensuring you'll have battery life from start to finish.

This is not a Link Plus!

I returned this product before using it

This is not a “Link Plus.” This is the smaller, lower powered “Link,” and has half the run time that the link plus has. At first, I thought competitive cyclist might have made an honest mistake, so I bought what was advertised as a Link Plus, from and they also sent me the smaller/cheaper Link model. Then I found out that both companies are now owned by the same conglomerate. I am still trying to return the first light, but I’m having a hard time getting a free return shipping label. They originally wanted me to pay $7. Buyer beware.

Yea, I also found out about the $7 return shipping fee recently. I ended up just keeping my item. Definitely more hesitant to purchase now...

Exposure is starting to make sh*t

I've put it through the wringer

I used to be an exposure fan (had a bunch of the headlights, from the Strada to the Max) - but the last in the Link series has soured me. this last one seems to have shorter battery life and after three months of intermittent use in the summer, the charging port has failed. My previous link unit lived years - bought it for a trip around Taiwan and it kept on running for 5 more years. this one lasted from June 20 til September 26 of the same year. So, buyer beware - and maybe I can get some warranty service that doesn't involve shipping it over the pond (another annoyance). I am really not a hobbit (see below) since size doesn't matter in this case.
