Technical trail companion.

The Evoc Stage Technical Bike Daypack provides just the right amount of storage space without being overly bulky. Its streamlined, easy to carry design carries a day's worth of riding essentials and up to three liters of hydration, with ample organization capabilities to safely stow your tools, snacks, and other accessories. A convenient helmet attachment also carries your XC or full-face helmet when you're finished riding for the day.

Adjusting to the width of your shoulders, the pack's innovative Brace Link adjusts the shoulder straps automatically for a truly custom fit without pressure points. The Airflow Contact System combats sweat build-up along your back thanks to its vented channels and perforated EVA padding. How to Measure Your Torso:
Measure your torso length by bending your head forward so your chin touches your chest. Feel for the most prominent bump at the back of your neck. Now measure from that point down to an imaginary line connecting the tops of your hips around your back. This works best with a partner's help.

I like it a lot so far (4.5/5)

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'd really give this a 4.5 star, but they don't do that.
Haven't had this pack for long, but It's very nice so far.
Things I like:
-It really hugs the back. It just feels glued on more than other packs. It has a big surface area, but has less height, so it carries close to your back.
-Organization is great. Big glasses pocket with extra storage, Key/wallet/phone pouch in the main compartment. Bladder is in separate compartment from main pouch which is much easier. Tool pouch is convenient, and the helmet/pad stowage is clean and easy to use.
-Venting/Straps/Belts are all top notch too. I appreciate the wide waist belt, it's noticeable.

For the sake of not gushing, here are the things I'd gripe about:
-That close to the back feeling also means that this 12l feels smaller than it could in terms of stashing items. I could go the next size up and have no regrets. Granted, I haven't needed the extra volume, but its tighter than I expected. Although- it goes in neatly which is nice.
-Osprey has a nicer solution for hydration IMO. This isn't a showstopper for me, I just bought an osprey hydration bladder mounted the magnet on the chest strap and rode on. But It may bother some people. Just not me.
- I guess a big hip or strap pocket would be nice to hold your miscellany.

Overall, this is the best pack I've had, even over my beloved osprey packs and with a few minor changes it could be a true 5 star. I'll update this review if it falls apart, but it feels stout. I'd be surprised.
