The 27.5-inch TRS Race Carbon Boost Wheel is designed to help reduce rotational weight for easier climbing and better overall handling without sacrificing strength or durability needed by the modern trail rider and enduro racer. Its use of front and rear hubs with large flanges affords the use of shorter spokes and builds up a stiff wheel, so they accelerate like a bat out of hell while tracking with authority through the rock gardens. Proven on the rough and tumble EWS circuit and receiving a healthy dose of feedback from World Cup DH legend Aaron Gwin, the TRS Race Carbon will transform the way you ride and give you peace of mind to push it harder with its lifetime warranty.

The hubs feature machined aluminum flanges while the hub shell consists of carbon fiber for weight saving concessions. Inside the hubs are angular contact bearings that spin freely, hold up against the elements, and are better able to cope with lateral forces than standard cartridge bearings. Inside the 660 freehub, three pawls positively engage the 60-point drive ring for quick accelerations and instantly getting on the gas out of the corners, on the climbs, and in technical situations. Lacing those hubs up to the TRSr carbon, tubeless ready rims are its custom drawn, triple-butted spokes made by its in-house brand The Hive, and alloy nipples. The hookless profile rims ease inflation and reduce burping while featuring a 31mm internal width that’s ideal for today's modern trail rubber between 2.3 and 2.6-inches wide and it comes pre-taped with valves installed for easy tubeless setup. The wheels also come with extra spokes, nipples, and washers to get you going down the trail if you sent it a little too hard on your last singletrack session. Please note that these wheels use a 6-bolt rotor mount and are spaced for Boost frames and forks. Choose between Shimano HG or SRAM XD driver.
