While desert rides may let you get away with small knobs and harder rubber, riding in the wet and wild terrain of the Pacific North West calls for a different kind of beast. Traction is your friend, and tacky grip that can hold on to wet roots and slick, mossy rocks is a must. E*thirteen aims to craft just the right tire for the wetter, rowdier conditions with the TRS Plus A/T Tire. This aggressive enduro-ready tire is built with the same treat pattern as you found on previous TRS tires, with ramped central lugs for low rolling resistance, and beefier side lugs for biting into off-camber terrain, but is charged up with tapered Apex inserts, which are built to improve grip under cornering and braking. The Plus tire uses a slow-rebound, tacky rubber throughout the tire for overall grip, but differs from the Race version, in that it skips the ultra high-tack rubber on the side knobs, which helps keep the price down, so you can save some cash for other upgrades and maintenance.
