Description

TRS Boost Wheel

If you're looking for burly aluminum wheels that withstand the rigors of aggressive trail riding and enduro, all while remaining friendly on the wallet, look no further than the TRS Boost Wheel from e*thirteen. The TRS rim has been improved upon from the previous generation, with a wider 30mm internal width to accommodate modern trail tires, and thicker sidewalls that are 6x stronger in impact tests than their predecessor. The hubs are TRS Race SL, with a durable 660 stainless steel freehub delivering 6-degree engagement for a quick pedal response that's especially noticeable on techy climbs or mashing out of corners to regain speed. The hub shell uses all-aluminum construction for a good balance of strength and weight, with angular contact bearings for a smooth ride and exceptional durability.

  • TRS rim with thicker sidewalls is 6x stronger than its predecessor
  • Wider 30mm internal width optimized for 2.3 - 2.6in width tires

How much do these weigh?

I'd like to know this too, no info anywhere on the TRS wheelset, not even on E13's website. My guess is they weigh a lot or it would be listed.

Cheap and Tough

I've put it through the wringer

While these aren't the lightest wheels (they are still lighter than Stans Flow S1's and the same weight as DT 1900's), they are tough and the hubs have 6 deg engagement which is way more than anything else at this price point. Awesome deal... And for the guy saying these are 27mm internal, that's incorrect. There are 30mm internal (I measured). These are just the older version of the LG1 EN wheels. The 2020 TRS are 27mm internal but these are last years model...

Did the front wheel come with Torque Caps for RockShox forks?

Best thing I can say is the price! Put 2k miles on this wheelset and have had the rear wheel trued 6 times! bearings are starting to get crunchy, rear hub has come loose twice, endurbo loud, and heavy. You would think they'd be stout wheels at the price but that's not the case. Buy em if you're in a punch, otherwise spend a few bucks more.

Wrong Product Description

One star to the product description. These wheels are listed as 30mm internal, but they are not, they are 27mm. CC was made aware of this, but have not corrected the error as yet. this is just to save you from ordering these wheels if you are looking for wheels that are 30mm internal, like I did. Otherwise the wheels look like they are very good quality.

Nope. Mine are 30mm internal. I measured. New TRS are 27mm but these are last year's version. Before 2019/20 TRS were all 30mm internal.
