Why We Like The SES Aero Road Handlebar
The ENVE SES Aero Road Handlebar is built for one thing: going fast. It's ENVE's first foray into internal cable routing, resulting in a clean look that cuts through the air. The flat, wide top section of the bars slices wind when you need speed and provides a big platform for resting tired hands at the end of an interval. The drops have a similar profile as ENVE's standard compact road bar, with the bar ends flaring out slightly wider than the top of the bar to offer a wide range of hand positions to get comfy and aero in the drops. Additionally, it's Di2 compatible with a junction box at each bar end, making it all the more futureproof if you decide to upgrade to electronic shifting down the road.

Really nice bars - pay atn to size!
- Size Bought:
- 42
- Height:
- 6' 2"
- Weight:
- 185
I ordered the 42s thinking I was getting 42 mms at hoods and drops - CC site doesn't specify the size differences. I broke my last bars in a crash and was itching to get back on the bike - by the time I realized my sizing error - the bars were already shipped. So here I am debating what to do - insta return when they get here and order a large size - or spend the time to get them set up and run em. CC has a nice return policy, so I was really only wasting my time opposed to money getting them set up. Last bars were 44s throughout, these are 37 on hoods, 42 in drops. I've been running them little over a month now - and have to say dont really notice that big of a difference fit/comfort wise on the hoods and they feel great in the drops. I've done 3+ hour hours on em and no issues. I got no drawbacks to report despite CC's webpage - gotta check Enve for full size specs.

Exquisite Bars... BUT...!
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Weight:
- null
These bars are a true work of art, I'll never go back to standard bars whether they are carbon or not, I'm in love with these and I haven't even put them on my new build yet! There is one MAJOR caveat though, the sizing applies to c to c at the bottom of the drops - standard measurement yes, but the flare results in the distance between hoods being substantially more narrow - like ALOT more narrow than what I expected. ("40's" are 35 at the hoods!) This is articulated on the ENVE site but not on BC. I had to send my 40's back for 44's - Never in my life have I ordered 44's!! Just so you know. ;)
