M7 Handlebar

Enduro racers and heavy hitting trail riders rejoice: ENVE now offers 35mm clamp handlebars. Built to compliment the bike and rider that finds the M7 lineup of components and wheels desirable for the terrain and personal riding style comes the M7 Handlebar. The larger bar clamp diameter allows ENVE to build a super strong bar that still comes in a respectable weight that can handle the extra leverage that comes from the increased 800mm width. ENVE offers the M7 in 3 rises, 10, 25, and 40mm so you can easily achieve your preferred handlebar height without resorting to a bunch of spacers underneath the stem. What isn't lost on the new bars, regardless of the clamp diameter, are the specific carbon layups, laminates, and resins that allow the Utah-based brand to build bars strong enough for World Cup athletes while still allowing for enough compliance to save hands and arms from minefield braking bumps and high-speed rock gardens.

Carbon fiber is desirable in this application as it not only allows for the extreme lightness, it lets ENVE achieve the shapes necessary for the tuned flex that isn't available in alloy. And while we're on the subject of shaping, we'll point out that this bar has slightly refined back and up sweep numbers versus the M5 and M6 bars. It's 8-degree rearward and 4-degree upward sweeps put you in more of an aggressive, elbows out position so you can confidently tackle rougher terrain at speed. All bars come with a decal sheet to color match the bars to any stock color ENVE wheel decal.

  • A carbon handlebar big on strength, weight savings, and ride quality
  • 800mm width adds control and confidence
  • 35mm clamp builds the strength needed for the increased leverage
  • 8-degree back and 4-degree up sweep gives an attack-ready position

Which enve Handlebar fit on my MTB Scott Genius 930 ?

>Rating: 2

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
True to size

I have the ENVE WHEELS with CHRIS KING HUBS, and by the best wheel combo. I love the amazing engagement for rotational speed and effortless climbs or ROLL THROUGH anything. Naturally, I figured you can't go wrong with ENVE bars. I upgraded from a 35LITE FATBAR, and i am very disappointed. My arms are aching in pain because of these bars being so stiff. I have a Santa Cruz High Tower full carbon SRAM Eagle Axis with Enve wheels. This one upgrade was a mistake. I am going to try the M6 instead with 31.8mm stem.

Quality bar

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I'm docking 1 star due to it being made in China (like most other carbon bars) from a company who boasts about product being made in the US. Besides that small detail this bar is a huge improvement to the aluminum Raceface bar that came with my v2 Bronson. This is my first carbon bar so I can't really compare it to others, I can only comment that I like it and that it oozes quality. Still deciding whether or not I should cut it down to the 780mm that the previous bar was or keep it at 800mm. I'll ride it a good bit at 800 before I make that decision.

Beautiful Rigidity

I've used it several times

This carbon bar is beautiful, the quality is obvious from the moment you opened the box; i got this pair with a 35 mm Enve stem set up on my Nomad V4. i was concern about the rigidity of the bar, nevertheless i decided to give it a go. i got this to replace a Santa Cruz carbon bar and i could tell immediately that this bar is more rigid but in a good way. i feel turning is a little more precise, even though the bar is more rigid than my previous one my hands feel less fatigue and the sweep on this bar also feels more comfortable. What made my purchasing decision a go was that i found out that Enve has a crash replacement that i feel is more than fair; over all super happy with my new bar stem combo.
