You may not think much about your bottle cage, but you probably should. After all, you take pride in the fact that you hand-selected every single component on your magnificent race rig, so why is your bottle cage just an afterthought? Fortunately, while you were busy not thinking about your bottle cage, the folks at ENVE were obsessing over it. What they came up with is pretty special. The ENVE Carbon Bottle Cage is made from carbon fiber (what else?) with stainless steel hardware. It was designed to keep your water safe and sound in any kind of terrain, and it makes access easy with entry from the top and both sides.
- Lightweight, stiff carbon fiber bottle cage
- Carbon fiber provides light, strong design
- Easy side and vertical entry makes for convenient use

Andres was very helpful and.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I called and Andres helped out through the whole process very professional and below is my Envyâs cage as well the bottles.
Light and looks great but...
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Both the carbon cages I have don't hold the bottles very well.
Do you really need this?
Not the best value for the money, but if you love ENVE and you have most or all of their components, this is a most have!
Best of the best
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Enve makes some of highest, no compromise products in the industry and this product is no exception. If you're going to be building up the best bike, why not top it off with the best cage? Holds a bottle through the roughest of rock gardens and it one of the lightest on the market.
Lightweight
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Awesome looking bottle cages, bottles slide in and out with ease. Holds bottles in nicely.
Not for your gravel bike.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
While these cages are super light weight and look good, they do not have very good bottle retention. I have lost bottles over train tracks and on the mellowest of gravel double track descents. Probably better suited for your pavement only road bike.
Great Cage
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Great water bottle holder, holds the bottle in place and looks great on the bike.
Super light
Great carbon holder. Lightweight and holds the bottle snug.
The Price of Greatness
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
They're feathery light, beautiful to behold, and the bottle retention is excellent. They're also, well, expensive. If you can get over that particular hurdle, these bottle cages are genuinely outstanding.
Yep, happened to me too on my first outting with these cages, hit a rough patch and out flew one of my bottles.
