Why We Like The Elite Suito T Interactive Trainer

The Elite Suito T Interactive trainer has been perfected by professionals to be used by amateurs like us. With adapters for 9 and 12mm rear axles, the stable base works with all our bikes, from our race-specific cross-country 29er to our road training bike. Though we’re normally insistent on staying outside as long as possible, if the weather gets too miserable we’ll happily throw our legs over the trainer instead. With a maximum 15% simulated gradient, it’s not all that different from churning up the climbs in our own backyard mountains.

\n\n

Nearly identical to the Suito package, we save a bit of money with the Suito T by throwing our own standard freehub-body compatible cassette on. We’re impressed with the unique algorithms that make resistance stay consistent throughout the entire workout no matter how hot our pain cave gets. Even better, the Suito T is one of the few trainers on the market we can use our power meter with to enable ergonomic mode. If we are looking to race other avatars, the Suito easily pairs with our favorite riding apps on the market. Simulating up to 1900w resistance, we know the trainer isn't the reason we’re not winning those green jersey sprints in the digital world.

Great smart trainer

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I've been using this trainer for about a year and a half and it's been solid overall. I haven't had any stability issues just make sure the outrigger legs are locked in place. I've never had any pairing problems either and have even updated the firmware a couple of times. As mentioned in another review the "Upgrado" app is pretty bad but other than initial setup and firmware updates I've never needed it. If you're interested in using Zwift or similar this is a great trainer.

A value...you won't need more

The Suito Elite is a high end mid-range trainer...if that makes sense. Unless you are competing on the pro circuit, it has all you'll need. Don't waste your money on a trainer that can produce watts you'll never produce. I am an avid mtn biker and occasional roadie. But I am not a pro cyclist. Producing 600-700 watts is a big deal for me, and not sustainable. Buying a machine that can produce more than 1900 watts is a waste of money. I don't use the Suito app (other than for calibration); its interface is not intuitive and clumsy. Connected to Zwift, the trainer is great. Re the wobble per another post, learn to adjust the feet. It's simple. Perhaps don't use it on floor tile that does not offer a smooth surface. I had no wobble issue with the drive. An added benefit, its smaller size folds up and can slide under a bed. This machine is being discontinued; buy it while available as a value.

Wobble

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Pros: -Good price -portable -simple to use Cons: - Unstable, there is flex in the legs and in the unit when I was using it. - Quite a bit of wobble in the drive wheel Purchased this trainer as it is one of the few currently compatible with the 2021+ emonda. Unfortunately it has quite a bit of wobble when using it. I think it stems from its adjustable feet and from the unit itself. I also noticed quite a bit of wobble in the drive wheel which could be felt when pedaling. Overall I think it would be great for a smaller rider. Returned it and ordered the Saris H3.
