Description

Retro refreshment.

Elite's Eroica Vintage Bottle Cage retro-fits modern cockpits with some refreshingly traditional style. Whether you're using it for easy bottle access on the home trainer or are building a period bicycle for a throwback ride, the Vintage Bottle Cage's blend of materials and design evoke the gear used by the greats of a bygone era. Though the grippy padding is colored to resemble the gum of yesteryear, the cinch-down cage holds any manner of contemporary beverage vessels.

  • A water bottle cage with vintage flair
  • Handlebar attachment and classically styled materials
  • Lever-closing system secures bottles, cans, and travel mugs alike

Question for GearHydras [Note: A quick search of classics - read Greek mythology - will confirm that's an exceptional double entendre, 'specially for a single bottle cage...I'm gonna have to insist upon extra credit points, there too]
1st, the double bottle holder appears to be the only product photo show; A fact I view as an outrage, very goatworthy of a class action lawsuit 🐵
2ndly, I sincerely hope someone responded to Jen's reasonable inquiries - I would say cogent, but having never met Jen, I believe it inappropriate to shtumpulate so far Beyond The Pale.
3rdly, it appears as of the single, as well as the double shown, embraces something of a tight fit on the bars? For purposes of discussion, let us suppose that an older-schooled drop-out has a hankering to project a diy leather bar tape performance, mind you, with gel bar inserts underneath the tape for added pre-arthritic and early onset dementia comfort. What say you to this bottle cage's fit-worthiness for such an eventuality?
My multiple personalities are unanimous in their pre-emptive thankfulness for your responsiveness in this important matter.
Yours in dubiousness,

Unanswered Question

a few questions...
1. what is the difference between the single and double alloy?
2. what is the average size bottle/mug this will fit?
3. how does it attach to the handlebars?
