It had one job...

Disappointing bottle cage from the company that’s supposed to be the industry leader in this. Bottle retention is poor, and I’ve tried 16oz and 20oz bottles from several brands. I haven’t yet lost a bottle, but on rough stuff they’ll fall out to one side. For a cage designed for XC riding, I expected a much tighter grip on the bottles. Perhaps an Elite-branded bottle might fit better, but I’m probably just going to buy different cages rather than buying more bottles. Leaving an extra star because they’re reasonably light and good looking on the bike.

Amazing cages

True to size

Super light, and strong enough to take a beating. They look amazing too.

Perfect for Mountain Bikes

I've put it through the wringer

These cages are a great match for full suspension mountain bikes with tight bottle cage access. The low sides make for an easy pull from the right or left and the cage holds the bottle very securely. I like this cage so much I purchased a set for my road bike as well.

Finally, a cage that works

I've put it through the wringer

I had gotten another brand of cages to fit my extra, extra small frame road bike, but couldn't get the bottles out while riding. After discussing my problem with the lovely reps at Competitive Cyclist I bought a set in the high vis yellow to match the trim on the frame. These have been great. I like that I can remove the bottle from either side while riding. The Camelback Podium bottles fit great. No issues with the bottles being too loose either. The only thing (and it's a small thing really, is the collection of dirt on the inside of the cages after a ride. I just did a Century and it was great to be able to fit two 21oz bottles on my bike.

Don’t waste your money. I purchased two of these and one broke after three months. I called customer service and they said they could not help, but I could email the warranty department, two weeks later not a peep from the warranty department.
