Eddy Would Go.

Side-entry cages like Elite's Cannibal are not only ideal for compact frames with access issues -- they also ease bottle insertion. And, given debris-laden shoulders, less time fighting a stubborn bottle and tight cage means more attention prioritized to dangers at hand.

Elite's advanced shape accepts both left and right entry as well as front, so you can keep your eyes ahead and not down. The Cannibal is constructed from durable yet light reinforced fiberglass, allowing it to tip the scale comfortably under the forty gram mark.

Elite's Cannibal Water Bottle Cage comes in one color, Gloss White.

  • Reinforced fiberglass
  • Allows the bottle to be inserted from the sides as well as the front
  • Fits all frames and works especially great with compact frames

Good cage for smaller frames

Bought for son's Fuel EX as it has barely enough room to fit the smaller bottle. Had to redrill the mount holes to make it work out. Nice snug cage though.

    Holds my hydration

Nice bottle cage. Does the job well and is pretty light. Just barely fits on my Hightower LT. Takes a little practice getting the bottle in and out, but a little play time with it and it will become second nature in no time.

Got these for my Hakka gravel bike as I was having fitment issues with the cages. Got these as they allow a lot of placement options and they did the trick. They also do a great job of keeping your bottles secure without making it hard to get the bottle in and out.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Works as it should. No need to repeat what other reviewers have said already.

    Checks those boxes

Inexpensive, Light, Very Secure. I like these cages, they work great on mountain bikes with minimal clearance since you can pull the bottle out at an angle, I ran this on a Santa Cruz Bronson, Evil Calling, and a Pivot Mach 5.5 without issue. Currently, have a set on my road bike. I would call these cages a great value and would totally buy them again.

    Great Cage

I purchased this cage to put on my new road bike and I love it! It holds many sizes of bottles and is sturdy as can be. I love the matte black finish as well.

    Firm hold

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These look good and don't break the bank. They hold really firm. In fact believe a couple pro tour teams use these cages during some of the rougher classics races. Anyways, these hold slightly firmer than my Arundel Mandibles which are also good. These cages will not work well if you are using Camelback bottles as it is much too tough a struggle to get them out while riding for my preference, however my purist bottles work good with these cages.

    New bike. new cages

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Building a new bike and these cages do the trick without costing a small fortune. I've put these on all my bikes and my boys bikes. We have never had any issues with bottles taking flight, and besides they look good!

The color combos for this cage are nice for matching up with your bike's color scheme. The soft part at the top of the cage is nice for keeping my hydroflask from getting scratched when I throw that in it

    Terrific cage

I have arundel cages I paid like $65 each for. These are better! So easy to get bottles in and out of. Colors great too. Not sure about durability yet but at this price who cares.

Riding a Yeti, I've always ignored the bottle cage mounts on the underside of the downtube, thinking that no cage could grip a bottle enough. Thankfully, the Elite Cannibal has had no issues with this. Whether the bottle is small or large, it hasn't budged yet.

    Great Cage

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

For the money I do not think there is a better cage. Works well on MTB frames with small triangles due to its ability for side entry. Provides adequate grip and will not launch bottles.

    Easy in, no worries

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This cage makes it very easy to get your bottle into the cage without having to take your eyes off the road. There is plenty of grip to hold the bottle secure and I have not had any bottle ejections. I picked up three of these and use them on my mountain bikes, to carry bottle with drink mixture while using a hydration pack. The colors look great, and will compliment any number of bike color combinations.

Great Cage! 2nd one I've owned and will buy more for my MTB. Super solid hold and grip.

    It Works

Nothing special here. Holds bottle secure and the Black Soft Touch looks great on matte carbon frames.

    Good (not great) product

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Looks good and holds bottles really well, too well. The first couple of times using it, it's a struggle to get the bottle out. I guess you end up getting used to the amount of force that's needed to extract the bottle. A bit on the heavier side. The ability to load and unload from the side is a plus.

    It Fits!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have been going through the ringer trying to find a cage to fit my 2016 Santa Cruz Bronson, because I really don't like riding with a pack. This cage finally fits perfectly. Its tight around the bottle, so I know my bottles won't get thrown, and allows for angled removal and replacement of the bottle, without stressing the plastic on some other cages. Works like a charm!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Any old cage will hold a bottle, but will it match your frame, tires, tape, saddle, jersey, shorts, socks, shoes, sunglasses, gloves, helmet, birthstone, and tattoos? This one (probably) will, and matching is the most important part of riding a bike.

Difficult to get bottle in and out!

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Maybe the other styles are better, but the soft touch version sucks. I tried putting a standard Camelback bottle in one before installing the cages on my bike. It took a lot of effort to get the bottle in and out. Figured if I tried yanking a bottle out on the road, would wind up in a ditch. Packed them up and sent them back pronto.

FWIW, I thought this was the case too at first, however, the tight grip loosens up significantly the more you use it. The cage itself will eventually wear out, but these are in fact my favorite cages and have them on all my bikes.
