Lustre 24 Kids' Bike - 2016

Your young rider has been complaining that they're too big for their old bike already, and after watching them try to take makeshift backyard jumps on a suspension-free frame, you can see they're ready for an upgrade. The Lustre 24's frame is made out of 6061 aluminum, a treated version of the metal with an ideal blend of low weight and high durability. Young riders who have never experienced suspension before will be pleasantly surprised the next time they hit a few tree roots or rocks in the yard — the Trail fork offers them added plushness with 40mm of travel. Our guess is that they'll only want to go up from there. As the fork name suggests, the frame's geometry is designed to resemble an XC bike, with a moderate, 69-degree head tube angle to keep them upright and able to practice picking their own lines as they navigate new terrain.
