Small feet, big lines.
Your little ripper has somehow managed to crush another pair of mountain bike shoes, and let's face it: having to buy them a new pair so soon is a small concession to make to their burgeoning love of the sport. Diadora's X-Phantom Jr Shoes will see them through miles of blasting over singletrack looking for harder lines and faster descents. The X-Phantom's breathable Suprell-Tech synthetic upper is durable enough to handle kid-caliber abuse, and Diadora punched out ample perforations along it to help keep air moving (and possibly help keep some of their most offensive foot odors at bay).
Within the shoe, Diadora included its Morpho AM cage, the same that graces its adult line, to hold small feet in place and ensure all their watts reach the pedals — a goal that's further helped by the solid composite-reinforced nylon sole. Two hook-and-loop straps along the top allow for quick adjustments pre-ride and from the saddle, and the rugged tread won't slow them down during the times they need to hop off the bike and walk through especially gnarly sections of trail.
