Django GX Eagle Mountain Bike

If fast is fun then fun includes hucking off side hits and finding new trail aboard our Devinci Django GX Eagle Mountain Bike. This smarty specced trail bike packs 120mm of rear travel into a design that feels a lot more bottomless than it sounds. Built for trails near and far we find that the Devinci Django supports our most outrageous and wild riding sessions with ease while we find new terrain to conquer day-in and day-out.

Devinci is known for pushing the boundaries of design and geometry aboard their robust aluminum frames. The bike uses a split pivot design that offers impeccable climbing characteristics all while staying glued during high-chunder descents. The rear shock mount on the Django is mounted directly to the main triangle, giving it a stiff platform that offers a supple response without feeling like the bike is middling through its travel range. In the low setting the Devinci Django is outfitted with a 66.5-degree head-tube angle which is paired with a relatively long 1188mm wheelbase for a size Medium frame. This combination of slack and long means more stability at high speeds and better performance through big chunky rock sections.

The Devinci Django is smartly specced and built with components we love to see on gravity-focused trail rigs. The bike uses RockShox suspension with top-of-the-line internals stuffed in a more budget-friendly package. The new Charger damper from RockShox continually impresses, offering unrivaled consistency and working hard through low and high-speed terrain to give our hands and back a break. The SRAM drivetrain offers ultra-wide range gearing with a 10-52t cassette out back bringing us up the steepest mountain grades. GX proves to be the workhorse of SRAM drivetrains all while staying compatible with the full Eagle lineup and ensuring that replacement parts aren't too hard to find.

Devinci's Django will be sure to leave an impression on our local trail system, be it the leaderboards or onlookers watching us crush wild terrain. Devinci's brand was born in the mountains and they know a thing or two about speccing a bike that performs well in that environment. Superboost spacing in the rear brings undeniable stiffness to the platform while the SRAM G2 4-piston brakes offer up incredible stopping power when things get a bit hairy.
