Deity Components Blacklabel 38 Riser Bar $87.00
Life Behind Bars.
Deity continues to plug along in their Nampa, ID facility crafting quality products for mountain bikers, by mountain bikers. The Blacklabel 38 Riser Bar takes what the brand has learned over the years of working with the sport's greatest athletes and distills it into a bar that is no-nonsense and just as eager to tackle the trails as you are. The handlebar of choice for the Scott/Velosolutions and Norco Factory Racing World Cup teams, the Blacklabel certainly has the World Cup pedigree and comes in enough colorways to ensure your whip looks pro-factory. Custom butted 7075 T73 aluminum is carefully shaped to upsweeps, backsweeps, and angles honed over years of development and riding, that are more than just numbers on a piece of paper, they allow these bars to become an extension of you and a connection to the bike. Consistently a favorite of many a mountain bike publication, the bars have an amazing feel and offer incredible control. The center bore area is widened to increase strength while still delivering a comfortable, stable, and responsive feel that is unmatched. This bar is ready to guide the front end of your DH, enduro, or all-mountain rig down the steepest, gnarliest terrain you dare.
- An aluminum bar proven to handle downhill rowdiness

Just what I needed!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
My Giant Stance 2's OEM handlebar is 730mm at a 25 degree rise and was becoming very uncomfortable after 2+ years of riding. I also replaced the OEM stem to a 50mm no rise. The deity 787 was used as is for about three rides on singletrack before cutting 20mm off. Each rider is different and has their own needs, but the 38 degree rise and wide stable sweep of this bar is much nicer than the stock bar.
I purchased the green bar to contrast the high amount of blue and black on my frame. I like it even if it is a bit bright. I am very pleased with the quality and very good price that Competitive Cyclist offered the 787 Black Label at. Highly recommended!
