Description

Contour PRO Short

The Contour PRO Short from De Marchi isn't just your run-of-the-mill cycling short, they're some of our favorite shorts we offer. Starting with its Genuine Sports Lycra, it's then cut in multiple contoured panels that maximize stretch and improve compression to key muscle groups. In doing so, these shorts help support the legs offering better performance and quicker recovery. The material also breathes extremely well and wicks moisture to keep you cool, dry, and comfortable while in the saddle. De Marchi enlists the help of chamois experts at Elastic Interface Technology for an insert providing all-way stretch performance, a pressure-point-free fit, and an effective barrier against rough roads and hard saddles. It's finished off with flatlock seams that won't rub you raw, laser-cut hems and pre-shaped, seamless leg grippers at the openings offering precise finishing and optimal comfort that won't move over the course of your ride.

  • Cycling shorts combining classic style and advanced textiles
  • Breathable materials wick away moisture and dry quickly
  • Multi-stretch fabric moves with you
  • Soft, lycra material provides compression for all-day comfort
  • Women's specific chamois cushions sit bones and sensitive tissue

Not for me

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: M

At a quick glance, the quality and workmanship of these shorts is reasonable, but I'm returning the shorts without giving them a chance because the full frontal placement of a white arrow shaped label is a deal killer for me.

nice short even for a thin chamois

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

I am 5 ft, 115lbs. I got the shorts in size medium. The fitting is nice, the material is really nice too. When I saw the padding I thought it was thin! I was concerned they will not be good for long distance riding, But then I decided to give it a try. I have worn them on several 80+ miles and they are comfortable. The waist band is comfortable but I remove the label that is on the front. I did not like having to attract the attention to that part of my body by the label.
The quality of the materials and construction of the shorts is great.

Is the patch on the crotch removable?

Hey Katie! No, the chamois pad is not removable on these. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Hi Katie,

I removed the patch by removing the the stitches. It was easy. The pad is thin. It has worked for me and I do long distance rides 80-100 miles and it has been good but it may not be for everybody. :)
