Classico 2.0 Bib Short

There are days for our kit to stand out, and days our riding speaks for itself. De Marchi’s Classico 2.0 Bib Short is the ideal partner for the latter, with timeless styling that matches any of our favorite jerseys. Made from a medium-weight Lycra that serves us well in a variety of temperatures, the Classico 2.0 is designed around De Marchi's contoured fit principles to provide gentle compression for hard-working muscles without feeling restrictive or uncomfortable. The panels are designed with an ergonomic shape and finished with a soft leg gripper to keep the bibs in place without riding up or constricting motion, while up top the mesh bib straps lay flat under our jersey.

Of course, an amazing short is worth little without an equally quality insert. The Classico 2.0 uses the Elastic Interface Endurance Active chamois, which provides specifically targeted cushioning for maximum freedom of movement. It is designed to provide comfort in all conditions and road surfaces, and for rides up to about six hours. On the bib outer, De Marchi keeps branding minimal to not draw attention away from your riding, and subtle reflective accents ensure you can be seen in low-light conditions.

  • A timeless bib short for road riding and training
  • 4-way stretch Lycra panels provide freedom of motion needed
  • Selective compression limits muscle fatigue
  • Endurance Active chamois cushions without impeding pedaling
  • Mesh bib straps breathe well to keep cool under a jersey
  • Made in Italy

Purchased these Bib Shorts as well as the De Marchi PT Contour 2.0. The Classico Bibs 2.0 have -an average chamois, nice compression, rough strap material. Minimal branding is nice, however, the De Marchi logo has already started to peel after minimal use. Need to wear a base layer so there is no chaffing from the straps. I would recommend the PT Contour 2.0 as a better Bib Short. Better Chamois at a cheaper sale price. Better Bib Shorts out there for this price range. Bought on sale. Do not pay full price.

Ive been on a quest to replace my assos circa 2011 kits. Mille training shorts and my FI13 over the top floating chamois bibs with something as awesome. Assos has definitely gotten greedy with their new stuff and it's no where near the same quality, i like Santini and have 4 custom kits from our race team, but I haven't been able to find anything in their line thats comparable to my old mille and F13's. Dollar for dollar Santini is likely of the best, however I wanted something more premium, Last year i purchased a pair of de marchi perfecto plus bibs and they were every bit of premium I was hoping for. Fantastic chamois, nice compression and comfortable on a 4 hour ride. My only complaint was that they only come with a silver/white reflector on the leg gripper and I wanted something more subdued that would match my other jerseys better. I got these bad boys on sale and they are pretty much exactly as I hoped, similar fit and construction to the perfecto's but at 112 bucks they are a steal for the money. If perfecto plus is on sale buy those, but for 100 less at regular price these will not disappoint. Large fits me, but i definitely can't get any fatter, they are long so if i went to xl they would be too long and into my knee. I'm long in the torso and no issues with the straps.
