DAKINEReplacement Reservoir

Replacement Reservoir
When your ski pack's hydration bladder looks like a chemical concoction of everything you put in it for the past few years, get Dakine's Replacement Reservoir. Its low-profile Shape-Loc center baffle keeps the reservoir in shape until the last drop, and the removable hose allows for easy cleaning so you don't make the same mistake twice. Dakine set the high-flow bite valve at 45 degrees for easier drinking, and there are on/off positions for extra security. The reservoir's top opens wide for simple filling.
- FDA-approved polyurethane
- Low-profile Shape-Loc center baffle
- Quick disconnect hose
- High-flow bite valve with on/off positions
- Fold-and-slide wide opening

- True to size
I love this bladder! It's the perfect size for my dakine heli pack. It fits in with plenty of room to spare. It carries just enough water that I'm all set on hard hikes/ and long days of touring. I also like that the cap locks so it does not leak!

AGUAS!

Fits perfect in my Dakine heli pro 24l pack. The big fill hole and attachment point are huge pluses. The mouth piece froze on me a couple times during the colder days, but I just had to bite a bit harder and the ice broke, thence I was refreshed. Yup, thence.

Got this to replace an older one, so far so good! I love the closure on it and will never go back to anything with a twist... too many wet packs. The fold and slide is great. As everyone else mentioned, bite valve and quick connects are clutch. I use it with a 24L dakine poacher and it's a perfect combo!

Solid alternate over the other guys

I love these bladders (Made by Hydropak) and these are by far my favorite based on the bite valve, the quick disconnect, and the fill method. Usually pick up a new one each year, and recycle the old one into my dirty water bladder for my inline filter.

Gets the job done
I got the dakine replacement reservoir to use with a Nathan pack and it's worked well. It seems to be the exact same design as the bladder that came with the Nathan pack originally. It's pretty easy to fill and drink from and also seals well. So definitely a solid product.

Great bladder. Quick connect hose, thicker wall material, nice bite valve. Overall a great product, maybe a bit expensive but seems like it will hold up well.

WATER!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I got this pack to go in my DAKINE heli PRo 20L pack and it fits and works great. I bought it for skiing which most of the time will freeze without some sort of sleeve to protect it.

Solid - Buy a new one every year
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This is by far an easy to use and well designed water bladder. The bite valve won't allow your water to leak out while riding. I do suggest you buy one at the beginning of every season.

Update your reservoir annually
There are a number of things I update annually to avoid mechanical issues. A fresh reservoir is one of them. I've been using Camelbacks since they were first introduced. The Dakine packs fit me better than the Camelbacks so I use Dakine reservoirs. I replace these every year because they start to turn yellow over time.

Kind of expensive for a plastic bag
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
It's a little tough to drop $35 on what is essentially a plastic bag without feeling a little taken advantage of. That being said, the bag itself is well put together. The material is thick, and I'm comfortable that it'll hold up well over time. The mouthpiece and valve is great as well. If you're already got a bag that you can connect this to, it's a lot cheaper alternative to grabbing a new camelbak or another dedicated water pack.
