Why We Like The Drift Cycling Shoe

We like to maintain maximum grip when we're mountain biking, and that comes down to the traction provided from our Dakine Drift Cycling Shoe. The brand's proprietary DK FlexRide shank technology ensures secure support on the pedal while flexing in the toe. That, combined with a grippy outsole means we'll have supreme energy transfer on the bike and mobility if we're ever in a hike-a-bike situation.

Sad, I was definitely enjoying this shoe. If they redesign the lace holes to be more durable then I might try Dakine again. I am hard on bike shoes.

Best shoes out there

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I?ve worn from 5 ten to vans with flat shoes all the time. Before getting the shoes the 5 ten were the better option but once the Dakines arrived everything looked good right out of the box. As for comfort I?ve never wore anything like it, just the perfect amount of room not too narrow and not too roomy. The sole is so perfect. I?m riding the crank brothers stamp 7 large pedals and the grip is incredibly amazing. At times the pins stick to the sole so good you?ve to apply a tiny bit of force to get the foot off. After 30 miles I haven?t had any slip off and the sole is still in perfect conditions. Solid enough to pedal and soft enough for hike a bike sections specially here in the rocky Arizona Desert. You won?t regret buying these shoes, they?re the perfect shoes worth every penny. I wear 9 with any shoes and got 9 on these as well and they fit exactly the same as any other shoe. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Great Grip & Comfortable

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Took a day of riding to break in the shoes, but after that they fit perfectly almost molded to my feet. The sole of the shoe has slots that provides awesome grip for flat pedal pins. Also the sole is made of a tougher rubber which shown no signs of wear after 15 rides. Lastly, the must unique feature is the pouch for the laces, no matter getting wrapped up. Highly recommend

Performance Meets Comfort

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I have owned several bike shoes and this is by far one of the better fitting shoes I have used to date because of the narrow heel & broader toe box. I do suggest sizing up a 1/2 size since they run a tad small. The rubber outsole has great grip on/off the pedal and walking is a breeze due to the DK FlexRide Technology. I have also been impressed with the insole which has provided great support and cushion for all day epics on the bike.
