Like a fine wine.

The Cross X Men's Glove was one of Dakine’s original offerings, and it keeps getting better with age. The silicone grippers at the fingertips help you keep a firm grip on the controls, while the synthetic suede palm offers protection. The palms have 3mm foam padding, to add some protection if you slam. The mesh backs keep your hands from overheating, while stretch neoprene panels add a bit of extra protection. And this glove is now touch-screen compatible, to make it even easier to tweet about how sick that last run was.

The Dakine Cross X Glove is available in five sizes, from X-Small, to X-Large, and in the color Black.

Right Amount of Padding

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

This is Jes' husband, she got me these gloves. These are exactly what I look for in a glove...snug palm, with reinforcements at the base of the fingers and edge of the palm, as well as the thumb. Extra grip on the index/middle fingertips. Stretchy material on the thumb and finger joints, and the knuckle area stretches as well. Small amounts of armor on the fingers, but overall not a bulky glove.

Look up the Dakine sizing chart though, it is accurate. It goes by palm size rather than hand length. Although my fingers are long and larges fit lengthwise, the recommended medium gloves fit snug and are better suited for biking for me. There is enough stretch in the fingers/knuckles that they are not uncomfortable.

Comfortable fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I've used these gloves several times now and I've been very satisfied. they offer a nice fit and a good bit of padding on the outer part of the palm. I would recommend.

Comfortable and Cool

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I use these gloves everyday and they have been my favorite yet. They breathe well and are very comfortable. I would definitely recommend these to all bikers.

Breathe Well, Padded

I've been using a pair of Fox gloves for mountain biking but their velcro is starting to wear and I found these are a great price so I decided to give them a try in black. They seem to breathe well and have good padding. The finger grips are a nice touch, as are the panels for protection.

    Great Glove

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

I've had a pair of these for a few years now. Held a really well over 3 or so seasons of medium use. Finally decided to grab a new pair this year. They aren't super bulky or padded, which I prefer.

    Awesome Gloves

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These gloves protect your hands, and the fit is true. They breathe well so you don't overheat and they're also remarkably good looking.

    great feel and protection

I have had the women's version that have lasted four seasons. By far my favorite pair of bike gloves...thin palm that gives good feel on the grips and doesn't wear out easily. Bought these for my husband who has traditionally used Fox and he loves these. My personal favorite for XC, DH, enduro riding.

Well used, and loved. Well Made.

I love my Dakine Cross gloves. I've been running this out for 3 seasons and they are still going. The Velcro has not worn out like my other gloves, the fingers are still intact end. Almost no cushion, if you're into that. Bottom line: well made.
