Disappointing - Poor Protection

The Rival Pro Vest is not up to the usual standards you can expect from a Dainese product. The shoulder pads in particular do not provide adequate protection and seem to be smaller than previous generations. There is a significant gap between where the shoulder pads end and the collarbone pads begin which I believe (based on previous injuries) would offer limited to no protection in the event of a crash The humpback water reservoir is also poorly designed. It is cumbersome to remove from the vest in order to fill with water and you have to reinsert the straw each time. A better design would have allowed the reservoir to be filled without removing the straw or even the humpback from the vest. I've been a huge fan of Dainese products over the years and usually find their products to be extremely well designed and crafted. Unfortunately Rival Vest Pro may be the clearest indication yet that Dainese is no longer the company it once was.

Very confortable, good protection for shoulders and back. I would like that the protection for chest and collarbone, be more strong
