Description

Keep your cool.

When summer starts hitting you with triple-digit days, you might find yourself waking up before the sun to chase down your base miles, but if the pre-dawn wake-up-call isn't for you, reach for the Craft Verve Bib Shorts to help keep you cool on the road ahead. Built to offer excellent control, and a boost of moisture-transfer, the Verve Bibs make a good case for everyday training when temperatures soar, whether you're just getting out for an afternoon cruise, or lofty weekend group ride.

As you ride, you'll notice that the Verve's supportive 4-way stretch Lycra has a knack for reducing muscle vibration, helping you optimize comfort and control through the miles. while a Coldblack fabric treatment works to lessen the fabric's absorption of UV rays, helping you stay cooler as you ride under the sun. An airy bib, made of six-channel Mesh Superlite fabric, spirits moisture away from your skin from under your jersey, while an upgraded Infinity C2 chamois takes the sting away from rough and chattery roads with 3-layers of multi-density foam, and a seamless upper that keeps your anatomy free of rough edges and chaffing. The shorts are finished with silicone grippers to keep your hems secured in place through the breakaways and punchy climbs, and reflective logos and piping that give you a boost of visibility when your ride takes you past sundown.

  • Airy bibs for hot summer rides
  • Form-fitting cut is supportive and stabilizing
  • Lycra construction is breathable and stretchy
  • Highly reflective leg endings promote visibility
  • Soak up rough roads with Infinity C2 chamois
  • Airy mesh bib wicks moisture underneath a jersey

Very fragile construction & materials

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size

2 pair, 0 miles. 1st pair the gripper separated from the leg when adjusting the gripper to straighten out a folded under edge. CC rep was great and sent out replacement right away The 2nd pair a seam on the leg started to pop when adjusting the "fit" in the groin. Neither of these adjustments were terribly exaggerated to cause the tears. I performed them just like I have done with any number of other bibs that I own from Louis Garneau, Castelli, Pearl Izumi, or Gore. I believe it's because of the material they are using. It's very thin and won't stand up to any kind of pulling in a smaller more localized area then loading the full length of a seam. I will be contacting customer service about a return and replacement for a different bib short. I would advise anyone who is not super delicate with their clothing to stay away from these. Note, it won't let me attach more than one pics so I'm only showing the gripper separation one...

Slick

These bibs look & feel slick. The main fabric has a checkered pattern. The leg openings are an inch wide rubber band. And they're stitched with silver (which I assume is reflective). And they're thin, light-weight bib portion is nice too. Even as nice as they are, I'm choosing another brand that fits me just that little bit better.
