Train through the cold.

The folks over at Craft are no strangers to getting after it during the winter months. The Swedish brand has earned an impressive following, which we at Competitive count ourselves a part of, for the way its functional clothing excels during high-intensity workouts in the cold. Whether you're working through a winter marathon training plan for a spring race, or getting out for a few Nordic laps before work is more your speed, the Craft Men's Storm Tight 2.0 should be in your drawer already.

On early morning workouts when the sun hasn't yet risen to warm the air, the Storm Tight will shield your legs from an icy breeze, while its articulated knees give you a wide range of motion as you run or ski under snow-covered trees. Craft also ensures that wind protection doesn't come at the expense of breathability with the Storm 2.0 by employing a contoured fit so the fabric can rapidly pull moisture away from your skin as you sweat. Reflective piping helps you stand out at roadside trailheads during the waning daylight hours, and a drawcord waist lets you adjust fit.

  • Focus on your workout, not the cold, in this thermal tight
  • Fabric shields you from icy gusts of wind
  • Form-fitting cut encourages rapid moisture transfer
  • Articulated knees preserve your freedom of movement

Stay warm, Minimize Moisture

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I received these pants a few weeks ago and haven't had a really opportunity to test them yet where they were meant to be used, but so far they are great! The front of the pants have a really nice wind resistant material with awesome articulated knees. The back of the pants are a more stretchy breathable material, so I imagine they will be awesome for my aerobic pursuits once we get a little more snow and colder temps. The pants also have really long zippers on the sides so they are easy to get on and off. They reflective hits are also a nice touch for safety and visibility when running at night on the streets. I will up date this as I get more use out of them.

Pray for Snow!

Thanks for the review! What's the lining like for the front panels- mesh or more fleece/warm material?

Hey Christian! The inside of the pants are lined with a thin fleece backing around the entire leg.
