Regulate the cold.
When the weather gets cold, it's easy to opt out of riding in favor of a warm couch and a good book. With the Craft Women's Long-Sleeve Active Extreme Crewneck Base Layer in your cycling wardrobe, you don't have to worry about getting cold out on the road. Built to serve as the first layer under a jacket or jersey in temperatures ranging from about 25 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit, this base layer provides cozy warmth against the snowy cold.
As one of the most versatile layers in Craft's base layer collection, the Active Extreme was constructed using a thin, lightweight, and elastic micro polyester. This breathable fabric was channel-stitched using a combination of two technical fibers. The first is an exceptionally soft 'hexa-channeled' fiber blend that rests against your skin, which begins the process of pulling moisture away from your body. This blend of fibers works in conjunction with the hollow fibers on the outer layer, providing insulation to your core and aiding in moving that moisture to the next layer. The materials work together to keep your body dry, comfortable, and smelling fresh throughout your most intense training sessions.
The highly elastic fabrics used to construct the Active Extreme provide a smooth, anatomical fit that moves with you underneath your additional clothing layers. The panels were joined using curved flatlock seams to eliminate abrasion and friction. Contrasting stitching lines the top's right shoulder, and subtle logos adorn the neck and sleeve.

Very nice fabric
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
Craft does it right; fit was spot on for a small for my girlfriend who is 5'5 and about 110 lbs, and she loves the color.
Ruby Crush... my rush was crushed
i just ordered another of these Craft base layers for my cycle commute and it arrived with 3 snags in the right sleeve. So, i will not be ordering a 3rd in the purple as i had originally planned. It matters not whether the 'snags' were a Craft QC fail or a return merchandise to BC that had been mishandled. Either way indeed a grave disappointment for an item that's as costly as this product.
Unless my order arrives poorly sized, it's hardly worthwhile for me to return as I must use USPS for returns in my area and this item is needed now more than it will be 3 - 4 weeks from now when i would receive a replacement. So , a lost star for each snag.
hmm, more of these
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: Large
since this arrived on my porch I have not wanted to take it off... love this shirt, goes well as a base layer beneath my ShowersPass jacket with a jersey for cooler / wet conditions . Looks like I'm going to have to spring for another for the sake of hygiene. Also washes up by hand quite readily and dries quickly.
I know it says form fitting but I ordered up and sooo glad i did.

I absolutely love my new craft base layer. I have a few ranging in the degree of warmth. They last forever. My new one is soft, warm, wicks perfectly. I recommend it highly. The price could not be beat. No is the time to pick up a few more.
