Tested in wet condictions

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: X-large

I spent 9 days hunting in Idaho using boots that leaked like a sieve, I believe this sock and a merino wool Darn Tuff sock saved my feet. Although uncomfortable, I had no blisters or hot spots while wearing this sock. They dry fairly quickly over a camp fire, and stink was surprising mimimal.

Great Sock

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Not too thick, not too thin. Feet and socks don't stink at the end of the day. Nice color.

What's better than smart styling paired with the benefits of merino wool? "Not much" say my feet. I wear these socks mainly off the bike, but will absolutely put them to good use this fall/winter when the going gets cooler. These can be worn casually, formally, or on the bike. I say that's money well spent.

New favorite socks

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These are my new favorite socks for casual wear. They're comfy, fit well with no bunching, and look appropriate with any footwear.

Rock my socks!

I love these chrome socks, I pick up a pair or two almost every time I place an order. They're super comfortable, they wick sweat and they don't hold odor! I'll keep coming back for more.

Burly Bike Socks

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are some of the thickest bike socks I've ever owned, super warm in cold and wet conditions but they tend to cut off the circulation on long rides.

Baby kitten soft, lama hair warmth

Chrome might be known for their incredible US made messenger bags, but their socks are worth shaking a chainwhip at. They are actually really warm and durable. Word on the street is they are made in the same factory as Defeet. Who knows if this is true, but if it is, it would explain their great quality, soft fabric, and warmth. I would definitely recommend getting your feet in a pair of these socks.

great socks

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I like nice socks and these are king. They were my sock of choice for 100 mile mountain bike races this summer and yet I pull them out for frosty 30degree commutes in the fall and winter. versatile.

Best D@mn Sock ever

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

With hesitation I purchased three pairs right off the bat. I like to buy in threes. Foot Happiness is an understatement with these socks. I traveled Europe in the summer in these and climb roofs in the winter. My favorite sock. The best thing is that they placed the toe box seam under your toes, Genius!! There is no seam nub to deal with. Don't second guess, buy a few pairs and be happy. PS I might wear one pair three days or so, with no smell and continued comfort.
